We went here for my Dad's birthday and had an amazing experience. They serve a variety of burgers within different budgets to suit everyone. We each had a different burger and were blown awsy by how yummy they were! With our burgers we got a side order of hot chips. They use "secret stuff" on their fries and they were simply mouthwatering. The ambience is excellent with various things written on the walls and a fountain. We didnt have to wait a long tine and our food was fresh and hot. They are licenced and offer night dining with an italian restaurent next door as well. I highly recommend going to the Burger Box...it is an experience you will want to repeat again and again!

When I bought my TV and home theatre system from Wow I had an excellent sales guy helping me. I told him what I was looking for, my budget, and what I wanted from the product I bought. He showed me a few different TV's in my price range, recommending I buy built-in HD and a matching home theatre system brand to the TV. He was patient whilst I ummed and ahhed over my choices, then once I decided he threw in a Belkin 8 point power point worth about $150! I was very impressed. I felt very good about my choices and still do today. Every time I've gone in there other than that time though, I have noticed it can be hard to find staff that are free to talk to, and ask questions of. There is however a lot of variety of cd's DVD's, MP3 players, and too many other things to mention. I do enjoy shopping in Wow, but only when I'm in mood for being in crowds, as there are usually quite a few people in there!

I've had to use this company twice for warranty for my TV first then my DVD player second. They are the only store in my area that does my brand of the TV and home theatre system I bought. When I needed my TV fixed they were prompt, came to pick it up as it was too big for my car, and dropped it off. The service then was fine and I was happy to be using them again for my DVD Player and the sensor that sends signals to the rear speakers which are wireless, which was also playing up. The DVD player was not reading any DVD disc I put in. I was informed upon putting both products in that it should be a simple and hassle free problem to fix. Two weeks later I still don't have either back! I have rung and rung but the particular tech is never in at the time I ring, and despite promises that he will return my call; somehow the message must get waylaid. I've gone into the store twice; he's not in at that moment either. All I want to know is if it's a simple problem, complicated, waiting for parts or what!! It's not that hard to make a 2 minute phone call to someone who paid an extra $135 for an extended warranty, to tell them the situation. Next time something goes wrong I will ring the warranty people and ask for the next closest store to me. I don't mind if I have to travel a bit further if it means I get better and prompter service. These guys have let me down badly and I'm not impressed.

This review is for Pause & Relax, Rothwell QLD

I have been to Pause & Relax a couple of times for full body massage, and it was divine! The massage bed was wider than the normal beds you see around the traps, which made you feel a lot more comfortable as you didn't feel like you had to stop yourself from falling off the side of the bed. There was also a very comfy head rest . The room had soothing purple tones on the wall and carpet, and the towels were also in the same vein. You could smell a very subtle fragrance in the background but nothing overpowering or too strong. After being given time to disrobe and lie on the bed, I must mention the towels were all bath sheets so being a bigger woman I wasn't battling to keep myself covered, my masseuse knocked on the door and came in, checked that I was comfy and started work. She checked all my sore spots, and I can say this much, you wouldn't be able to lie to her, she knew if you were sore or not! I've never experienced massage such as the one I was given both times; I saw the same lady. The massage itself is hard to describe, but it was exactly what my body needed, and the use of hot rocks was new to me, but by no means unwelcome. The work done on my legs left me feeling like jelly for a bit so it was just as well I was turned over for work to be completed on the front. A lot of stiff, sore areas were released, and my particular problem areas of the back and neck were sorted in no time, and the relief remained for the rest of that day and evening. There was no sense of being hurried or moved on. After the massage was over I was offered a glass of chilled water, asked if I needed to use the amenities, or if I just wanted to sit for a few minutes before leaving, no rush. They have a rewards card for clients that go back. Every time you go they stamp your card, then on the 5th visit you get a half-price treatment. This card had four of these on each one. The first time I went I was also given referral cards, a great idea in my opinion, where if you refer someone and write their name on this card you get $10 off your next visit! I certainly felt pampered, looked after and special at Pause & Relax, and am looking forward to returning soon. They don't just do massage though, they also do Facials, Waxing, Spray Tanning, Ear Candling, Manicures & Pedicures, they do combination packages, and Specialised Beauty Treatments including- Body Firming Green Clay Wrap, and a Full Body Exfoliation & Moisturise with Sea Salts/Aromatherapy Oils. It sounds simply luscious doesn't it? It also caters to men, so it's not just for the ladies out there, so come on guys! Pause, & Relax!! The price given bleow is for an hour massage.

This review is for Kippa-Ring Vet Surgery, Kippa Ring QLD

I have used the services of this vet surgery many times to buy over the counter preventative flea products, but when my cat was in obvious discomfort and unhappy, I rang around and was satisfied their consultation fee and vaccination price were the most affordable for me, so I booked in. Both my cat and I were very nervous, as my cat had just turned 16, and I was dreading what the vet was going to say, and was sure they would try to pump me for as much money for unnecessary tests as possible! After the vet called me in we both relaxed. He was gentle with my cat and with me but also honest. He did suggest some tests but also assured me they weren't imperative to her health and well being. However she did have arthritis, and he made it perfectly clear it was my choice to treat that or not, and that I would not be judged for my choice. He vaccinated her as I asked, wormed her for free, did a general check up, then brought out the medicine he said would alleviate her pain, and explained how it worked. Upon asking the price, he was immediately forthcoming, and whilst it was a little more than I had wanted to spend, my cats behaviour had been aggressive and out of character, which could only be put down to her condition, so I happily bought the medicine. He had printed out for me the name of the tests that could be done, along with their prices if I wanted, or was able to have them done in the future. I found the vet, the receptionist and even the other clients in the waiting room to be extremely friendly, and all staff answered my questions with a friendly tone and an eagerness to let me leave informed of the various products they had in the surgery. After moving house over a year ago I hadn't gotten around to finding a regular vet, but now I have, and would recommend them to everyone. I think a good vet is as hard to find as a good doctor! If you're in this area, even a little further away then 10km's, it's worth the extra miaowing in the car or whatever noise your pet makes! The price is affordable even for those on a pension, such as myself, and you can buy products such as Revolution for dogs and cats one month at a time, if 3 or 6 monthly is a bit of a stretch for you, as it is for me. Overall the service is tops and I can't speak highly enough of them.

Due to my previous chiro retiring due to ill health I had to find another one, and took pot luck on this one. I was pleasantly surprised. The clinic felt a bit rushed and hectic when I first walked in, but once I saw the chiro he took the time to talk to me and listen to what I had to say. He looked at my x-rays and then took me into another room for my adjustment. It was different from my experiences with my other chiro, and didn't seem to last as long and not as much was done. Seeing as this was my first session I didn't saying anything, but will talk to him about it next time and explain my reservations and what was done for me previously. I'm pretty confident he will be receptive and take it on board without being offended or anything.

During the periods I had basic/Blue cover with RACQ, I never needed to use them much but it was so great to know they were there. Especially since I didn't know much about cars at first, including how to check my oil and water! A couple of times I ran out of petrol and they promptly arrived to help me out, explaining the second time that $10 worth of fuel will only take you about 15k's or so. That was when petrol was much cheaper than today of course. They were very helpful after a major accident I had a few years ago, knowing that part was taken of was very reassuring. I also have my CTP with RACQ and am very happy with that choice.

I had AGL as my electricity provider from the time Qld had open slather on companies for electricity and gas. So once it was no longer just provided by Energex. I had no say in going with AGL, and they offered me no special deals to entice me to stay with them. I didn't reall understand much about this new system so just stayed with them. It wasn't until I moved addreess that I found out that I could indeed ring around, actually I had to as my new premises had gas and AGL doesn't supply gas, and found another company that offered a great deal if I switched over. So I did and haven't looked back. AGL were ok, but it would have been nice if at my previous address they had written me a letter to advise me they were taking over my electricity, and to provide me with some kind of "welcoming" gift.

I dropped the car off on a Friday morning, probably not the best time for a mechanic! The car wasn't quite ready by end of business day so I was given a loaner for the weekend which I thought was fantastic as it made my life a lot easier. The car needed a fair bit of work and I was grateful they took the time to do it, and didn't rush the job. That meant a lot. When I picked the car up, I asked one of the head mechanics about my other car which was not currently going at all but I wanted and needed to get it back on the road. He was totally honest, and told me it would be best worked on by a specialist on the make of my car, and recommended a local company to me. This impressed me, as he could have taken my 2nd car in and charged me bucketloads only to say "sorry, can't fix it".

I had a great experience using this store. I went in to have a script made up, but needed a moisturiser for my dry skin as well. After making them aware that I didn't have a lot of money, but had been admiring a more expensive brand of skin care, the young pharmacist there directed me to a basket with baby products at half price. At first I was sceptical, but she assured me they were selling them as adult moisturisers as well, they were so good, and easily absorbed. Even though I didn't recognise the brand name I bought this product, and what was originally $9.98, only cost me $4.95. Whereas the other brand I was eyeing off would have been $9.90 for a slightly smaller tube! She was right as I discovered upon getting home, it was a great product for adult use.
