Have had several shoe repairs from this outlet. All carried out promptly. Store staff knowledgable about repairs and soles available. One pair of boots had failed repair (sole came off), store workers very apologetic, fixed it for free on the spot. Highly recommend.

Lunch here on a Sunday. Appears to be trying a French bistro vibe. Extremely limited menu selection. Dishes are authentic French but execution leaves something to be desired. French onion soup too heavily seasoned with pepper and cheese crouton disappointing. Seems to have small number of customers compared to other restaurants in the Spot

Cafe in Randwick. Comfortable seats and interesting film paraphenalia decorate premises. Good selection of food and drink, milkshakes are especially recommended. Prices a little higher than others in The Spot but this is the only really nice cafe to go to. Recommended for an afternoon pick me up.

Small Karebear outlet halfway along Belmore Road, same brand as existing shops in Kingsford and Haymarket. Despite small size has wide selection of Asian inspired gifts and nick nacks. Look out for sales and large discounts. Wide selection of Mario toys including plushes.

Busy group medical practice on the end of Avoca Street near junction with Alison Road. Limited appointments, most patients seen on first-come-first served basis. BULK BILLS. All doctors friendly and competent.

Very reliable Pizza Hut branch just near the university. Pick up service prompt and pizza always ready on arrival. Delivery service quite prompt and reliable, no mishaps as yet. Custom orders seem to be easily arranged. Have also made large volume orders here with no difficulty.

The best of the two sushi trains in Randwick. Good variety of sushi and hot food items. Service prompt and easy to order dishes not on the conveyor belt. Prices good compared to other sushi trains. Gets very busy at lunchtimes.

Small post office in The Spot. Service always prompt and friendly. Have collected parcels there on numerous occasions, seems to be very reliable. Broad range of services available including purchase of Easter Show tickets. Queue often smaller than in larger Randwick post office in Royal Randwick Shopping Centre

Slightly cheaper than main chain cinemas e.g. Greater Union/Hoyts. Shows a good selection of the main releases (although not all of them) and many in 3D as well. Also shows good variety of independent films not shown in major chains. Good concession stand with bar upstairs for alcoholic beverages if desired, which can be taken into cinema. Five stars!

Service always prompt, unusual for this outlet. Staff polite and friendly, though can get busy in the afternoons. Location is in the food court, so ideal for picking up a drink.
