Great value, they run a lot of. Heap deals, and the selection is pretty good. There are quite a few frames to choose from in the cheapest range, which is nice. The people are always helpful too.
These guys do a great job. Animals are well looked after and they try pretty hard to match you up to a suitable animal. They also sell pet items and very cheap second hand things. Good place to go for leads, bowls, etc and you know you're helping a worthy cause.
I purchased a groupon voucher for Alma Park Zoo ($39 family entry) and ended up taking two of my kids (ages 4 and 7) and one little friend along (aged 7). It was the middle of school holidays so it got very busy from about 11 onwards. I expected it to be a full day activity but it was more like 4 hours of interesting fun. The kids sat through the very brief reptile and koala talks (felt a bit generic and rushed to me) but really enjoyed feeding many different animals. Great picnic areas. The usual shocking prices on food. $4.50 for a plain hotdog. $2.50 for a tiny packet of chips. The service was good though. My advice: take your own food and expect to enjoy a good half day and don't bother with the talks! Oh,and the line during school holidays for the 'persinalised' animal photos was horrendous. All the people who had paid their $15 for a photo with a koala or snake were waiting in line for a good hour!!! Take your own camera :-)
Approximate cost: $39
Great shop, they were very helpful when I was buying my son a present. Gave me a great idea, and helped with choosing colours and sizes. They were also happy to point out other items he might like, and weren't upset when I decided not to buy them. Great service!
I love sushi, and Go Sushi has a reasonable range. In fact, it never changes so you can always get the same thing. Personally, I find them a little bland, and uninspired, and they have continually had price rises over the last few years but their quality and range hasn't improved.
I love Amazen. They have a great range, with some toys and puzzles that you can't find in the big department stores. They are good at offering recommendations too, especially for hard to buy for little people!
Funny little tucked away shop. Lots of ginger products (of course), but you find them in grocery stores too. They do sell nice ice teams that my kids enjoyed.
Generally pretty good. The buses run on time and drivers are helpful. Very frustrating when you get the rude drivers though ( you know who you are!) it's also very difficult to follow their silly rules about folding prams up when te driver takes off as soon as you're on and you are left standing up, trying to hold the newborn and fold the pram with one hand ( and hold the toddler so she doesn't fall off the seat and put the bags away!!) stupid rule and pretty senseless really.
The burgers are ok, at least there are a few different sauces that you can request. The service varies, sometimes it's polite and sometimes not. The chips are always smothered in salt, which is unfortunate because they are actually nice chips without all the salt. Even if you ask for without salt they are still covered! Prices aren't that good considering it's just junk rubbish food. I like the vego burger with lots of spicy sauce.
Great service, very helpful and will stay with you until you've got exactly what you need. They have off cuts of foam of all different sizes, very useful.
