What happened to this place??
It's like the people don't want to be here, the food isn't as good as it used to be and they won't take the Entertainment Book voucher, saying it's for 'main meals' only.
They used to take it for everything, including if you ordered a whole bunch of tacos as a main meal.
Also, tacos have gone up again. There's 1 for $3, 3 for $4 and a couple that are $5 and $6
After the renovations, this place is booming!
Good food, good atmosphere
No question about coming to this one
It's not in the middle, which makes getting in and out a lot easier. And it's just that bit quieter because of it.
Food is still good as is the service
Came again recently with friend and we all enjoyed our meal immensely. From the kwey teo to the laksa and everything in between, they do them all very well and then some.
Drive up their beautiful track leading to the cellar door.
Get out and enjoy some of their wines in the building overlooking the vines.
They have a gorgeous Pinot Grigio and Noir.
The Rose was also magnificent and they had a Spanish varietal, but not to my taste.
Very good this group of eye doctors.
They are very gentle and will explain everything
Will use them again when in need
I don't know when they changed the rules, but I've been here a number of times using shop a docket or any other vouchers and they've always honoured it no matter what I got.
This time around, went there and they said there were exclusions! There's no fine print anywhere so no idea when they decided this.
Very not happy.
Ended up getting this mixed grill thing. The sausage tasted weird, the kangaroo was waaaay too overcooked even though I said I wanted it rare and the chicken was mediocre at best. Then they had this weird terriyaki barramundi thing. Let's say I learnt not to put those 2 flavours together... ever.
Love the wines here. They have a Savvy that's more full body and less like water with a bit of taste added.
The area surrounding the cellar door are ideally situated for a nice picnic or meal, they have some large slab wooden seating.
Soon they're going to have paella night. Can't wait!
I love this place! They have a good range of cheese and you can always come for a picnic on their grounds.
They do good coffee too, which is a bonus
Now here's somewhere that should be on everyone's 'to go' list
At $7.50 for fish and chips, it took me back to my childhood where the fish was still white and flakes properly.
They've done the place up a lot to fit in the with the style and feel of the modernised Aldinga 'strip'.
We got talking to some people there who said they drive from Adelaide just for this place's fish and chips. That speaks volumes!
