This is a very small and cosy cafe in West End's Hardgrave Rd.
There's often free live music, and the service is very friendly.
Not a lot of variety in the food and drinks on offer, but it's a great warm place for a coffee on a cold winter's day.
Great place to take a dog and sit outside under the trees.
The coffee is good and I love the twice baked cheese souffle but the service sometimes leaves a little to be desired - slow, and incorrect orders when busy.
if you don't mind waiting and an occasional wrong order this is a beautiful place to while away an afternoon with friends or your dog.
Approximate cost: $15
Bulk billing medical practice. I saw Dr Mohmood who was thorough and didn't rush me out. you can either just turn up and wait for the next doctor available, or request a particular doctor.
nurses and pathology services on site also bulk billed
Recommended you find a time where there won't be too many people to minimise the amount of time you have to wait.
Approximate cost: $0
Many exhibitions are an acquired taste, but some are spectacular such as the Valentino exhibition and Ron Mueck.
Great to have another space in Brisbane to see high art.
I LOVE Avid Reader.
Amazing selection of books, and it's really worth looking at the staff pics (a number of them are published authors themselves).
lovely little cafe with a really friendly community feel.
able to find just about anything and order it in.
I love the gift wrapping (free with purchase)
I'm still dreaming about the tuscan potato pizza. Who would have thought a potato pizza would be that nice?
I enjoy going at lunch when there's few people around and the service is fast.
$12 lunch specials are worth looking at.
The Gunshop used to be a real West End icon but have gone downhill significantly in the last few years.
Always either crowded or empty, the meals don't have the same flavour they used to, and there area better and cheaper meals available in other cafes within a few blocks.
I've been disappointed the last few times I've been there.
I used this service for a spring clean after a pest issue.
Worked fast and effectively, trustworthy.
I was happy with the service.
Basic sandwich bar. Good food but a little on the expensive side.
Serivce is reasonable but there's often a lot of people waiting.
Spent three nights in a twin room. Basic room but beautiful marble bathroom.
The little things are what make this place special - from the doorman who takes your bags, to the T2 teas, slippers and bathrobes in the room, there are lots of little extras to enjoy.
Quite expensive (which is expected for Collins St) but I enjoyed my stay.
Loved the room service hot chocolate.
