This small Restaurant located on busy Canley Vale Road always seems quiet when I walk past, seeing how quiet it was a friend and I decided to stop by for lunch recently.

Decor is simple and the waiter didn't seem to smile or acknowledge us when we walked in. Typical Customer Service of Restaurants, but we were hungry and eager to order. I ordered the Banh Xeo ( Vietnamese Pancake ) and my friend ordered the Spicy Bun Bo Hue ( spicy noodle soup with meat, tripe, congealed blood jelly etc). I found the Banh Xeo abit lacking and wasn't flavoursome as I have tried at other Restaurants but my friend absolutely raved about her Bun Bi Hue dish. She said it was flavoursome, rich and the soup packed a powerful kick of chiili and lemongrass and was delicious. We also had the pork spring rolls, which made up for my tasteless Pancake.

Whilst my friend enjoyed her noodle dish, I wasn't too impressed with mine. In future, would order something else form the menu like the tapioca noodles which sounded appealing!

Just like it's name sakes in Canley Heights and Bankstown, this Restaurant serves Vietnamese Cusine at reasonable prices, it's located in the heart of busy George Street. There specialty of either spicy beef pho or the spicy bun bo hue noodle soups. It's located next door to Pho Pasteur and when we dined here, it was a busy as it was lunch time rush hour, but we found a table inside and were handed menu's straightaway!

So I ordered the spicy bun bo hue which is basically a spicy Vietnamese Vermicelli soup with stock, herbs, sauces, spices, meat like beef slices, flank, tripe, brisket etc but I always ask them to put beef slices only into mine as I don't like the idea of eating offal or tripe personally.

It's about $12 a bowl and it arrives fresh and hot from the kitchen. It's tasty and the soup packs a spicy punch, perfect for curing a cold in my opinion!

The rice paper rolls are nice here, I find the spring rolls just ordinary , no real wow factor, but I do love the avaocado shakes - just creamy and the right consistency!

Decor is simple but food is pretty good here. Would dine again!

This review is for Your Choice Meat, Bonnyrigg NSW

Your Choice Meat is a small butcher located inside Bonnyrigg Plaza and offer meat products and fresh eggs as well. I came and got 2kg of best mince for a lasagne I'm planning on making for $13. The shop front looked clean, meat products all displayed and labelled clearly and service efficient and quick.

Would shop again when I'm in the area next. Great tasting mince as well.

Ornato's Fruit World is located inside Bonnyrigg Plaza, just next to Big W. It's a relatively small fresh produce store with lots of bargains located just outside the store. We picked up juicy necatarines for $1.99 kg and my fave avocadoes for $4.99 kg.

It can get quite cramped if more then a few customers are inside but it's relatively easy to navigate your way around and locate what you need. Lots of bargains to be had on fruit and vegies. Staff are quick with service but it wouldn't hurt to smile whilst serving customers!

This has got to be my favourite Thai Restaurant , that is less then 5 mins from home. I was here on Tues with friends for lunch. I ordered the Chicken Pas Se-Ew noodles for $9.90 which comes with thick rice noodles, stir fried in soy sauce with eggs and broccoli and carrot. Always a favourite of mine. Whilst my other friends ordered the Beef Pralarm Loung Soung which was stir fried beef in Thai Style Peanut sauce with vegetables and steamed rice with and the Chicken Gaeng Curry (yellow curry) which was a mild yellow curry with potatoes and onions cooked in coconut milk with steamed rice. Both dishes tasted great too.

Everytime we have dined here , the staff are friendly, welcoming and always accomodating with extra rice, bowls or cutlery if we have the kids with us. The lunch special from 11-2.20pm is any curry, stir-fry, with chicken, beef or pork or seafood for $9.90 and they come with steamed rice.

Only downside I have is they don't open Mondays, kind of disappointing especially if your having Thai cravings! Will continue to be a returning customer!

Chocolateria San Churro serves great tasting Spanish chocolate, desserts, ice- cream, coffee, shakes and smoothies, to their famous Spanish donuts ( churros).

My friend and I often come here for the "churros for two" for $14.95 , which comes with 6 churros and 2 pots of heavenly melted chocolate. All washed down with their thick and rich spanish hot chocolate drink for $5.95. Always goes down a treat. And If i have the kids I would buy them the "kids churros" with comes with 3 churros, pot of melted hot choc dipping sauce and pot of hundreds and thousands. keeps the kids full and a fun way to make a chocolate mess.

Love coming here to unwind with a sweet dessert! Love this place. The girls here are friendly and welcoming.

This review is for Mad Mex, Parramatta NSW

Having a burrito craving brought me to Maz Mex today for a grilled chicken burrito with guacamole. It comes stuffed with brown rice, black beans, cheese, lettuce, sour cream, grilled chicken all encased in a flour tortilla and your choice of salsa. You can also have the option to have this burrito without the tortilla " the naked burrito" for the heath conscious and their are also gluten free options available.

This place offers great and Authentic Mexican cusine. They have bottomless softdrinks and offer a great $9 signature Margarita, imported Mexican soft drinks, Tequila etc.

Great place to grab a quick meal, service is friendly and warm. Seating is limited, first in - best dressed basically.

This review is for Killa Burger, Carramar NSW

Killa Burger is famous for it's MASSIVE burgers, both normal size and it's 30cm in diameter burger which can be shared and feed four people. They actually have the " Killa Challenge" where if you can finish a whole killa burger, chips, drink and soft serve, you get your name on their " Wall Of Fame" and you win some " killa prizes" all within 60 minutes!

Myself being a small person could never finish this challenge or dare attempt it in anyway, I usually order the chicken burger with cheese, lettuce, tomato, special sauce for $5.98 and in a meal with chips and a drink it's $8.98. I'm usually quite full after eating this burger, I can only manage half the chips! There are also monster nuggets, fried ice-cream bombs, killa ribs and they have great tasting chips, with just the right amount of seasoning for my liking.

Great tasting burgers and chips here. If you game try the Killa Challenge it might give you a coronary but worth a try! They have other locations in Rhodes, Burwood and Roselands. Definitely would dine again!

My Mum loves taking us here on the weekend to this Vietnamese Restaurant as they specialise in open flame grill barbecue fish and chicken wrapped in banana leaf. You can also opt to have DIY barbeque squid to do charcoal grilling at your table and DIY roll your own rolls, sear the meat and make your own fresh rice paper rolls with the vermicelli noodles, salad leaves and pickled vegies provided!

When your walking past this Restaurant and they have the doors open, you will notice the open BBQ's and the charcoal smells lure you in. If BBQ meats aren't your thing, they have a vast option of other Vietnamese dishes on the menu to entice like banh xeo ( vietnamese pancake), fresh rice paper rolls, stir fries, soups and the grilled beef wrapped in betel leaf is rather tasty too! But the main specialty of the house that I see many people order is the grilled chicken, skin so smoky and caramelised and the meat still tender and juicy, fresh straight from the barbecue grill.

This place is abit more expensive then other Restaurants but the lure of charcoaled meat straight from the open flame grill is worth trying even just once. It does get quite busy on weekends, with lots of families but well worth the wait!

This review is for Iron Chef Chinese Seafood Restaurant, Cabramatta NSW

Iron Chef is my choice of Yum Cha and Chinese Restaurant if I'm in the mood for great food, and you simply can't go wrong here for Yum Cha.

I love the pork spare ribs with garlic, chilli and bean sauce. So tasty and flavoursome. Dumplings, rice noodles, friend calamari, mango pancakes are all so tasty here and readily available!

Lots of parking behind the Restaurant as it's their own private parking. This Restaurant joins the Stardust Hotel and you often have to walk through it if your entering via the car park. hate that especially when the place is full and you have to wait to be seated, so try and come when it opens or just before lunch time rush hour!

This place never disappoints. Only time I have been let down was when they ran out of mango pancakes and the kids were looking forward to them or when service is slow, and it takes ages for the food trolleys to come service your table. Great place to dine, returning customer!
