This salon is well known throughout the Gold Coast area as being the best around. All the girls are highly skilled and trained and work quickly and skillfully. I get my acrylic nails done here usually. You need to book well in advance as they book out days in advance.They are developing their own products as well. Brilliant.

This salon is tucked away just off the main street but well worth trying out. As you recline in a leather lazboy chair the girls go to work on your nails.. try the nail art- they are experts! I had french nails but tried a soft nail art work so they added subtle glittery bits to the ends- it was gorgeous!! Very subtle but you can have out of the world nails too if you dare!! To paint your nails .. it will set you back a whole $10.00!!! AWESOME PRICE!! To get the frills- you will be looking at around $50.00. I love this place!!!

Judie's salon is situated at her house. I found her through a flyer she had posted in the letterbox of a friend. She has successfully managed to change my balck hair to a very natural light brown/blonde colour without the damage I was certainly expecting. She really knows what she is doing- I was a bridesmaid in Melb recently and the extremely expensive hairdresser down there commented on the excellent quality of my hair and colour for my skin.

The moment you walk into this small beauty salon you will be struck by the friendliness and welcome of either Kathleen, the owner, or Liz her therapist. The rooms are small and intimate and they spare no expense on you. If they have no clients booked immediately after your appointment, they often run over time to give you more of the spa experience.
Very personal and caring service. They go above and beyond anything you would expect in excellent service and professionalism.
I bought the dermabrasion course- 8 sessions for my face and after the first treatment my skin began to show amazing improvements with my blemishes disappearing completely half way through.

I was referred to Aicha through my sister who had a full leg, Brazilian, underarm and eyebrow wax for $55.00!! Now, I was HIGHLY dubious as the price was FAR TOO inexpensive for the market, BUT on seeing the results.. I booked in!
Aicha works from a relaxing boutique style room a-joined to her house. She is wonderfully friendly and extremely professional.
She uses an amazing caramel wax which she makes herself, and its actually edible!!!! She does not re-dip any spatulas or instruments into any wax/putty pots - as most therapists in high end salons DO. She is EXTREMELY hygienic.
For a Full Brazilian and I mean front back and sides- The Works baby - she charges $25.00!!!! Every other salon I have been to; and I have been waxing since the day dot; charges on average $50.00- $60.00 for an experience which is often second rate, and leaving you with ingrown hair.
Aicha is fast, friendly, efficient and professional. NO ingrown hair at all and this price is UNBELIEVABLE!!! If you live on the Gold Coast and wax ANYTHING at all.. you should be this ladies client.
She also provides day spa facilities like infrared body detoxes, facials and massages, but haven't tried them yet. I will though. I think she is an amazing wax specialist and everyone should know about her.
Why get ripped off at big name salons when you have someone here who actually KNOWS what she is doing, not just out of training, someone who cares about her work...AND... charges these prices??!!!
