I wasn’t having any recent luck with haircuts in my hometown, so thought I’d look at reviews for hairdressers on the web. I choose Edge hairdressers in O’Connor. I waited a couple of months for an appointment with Michael (cut) and Halle (colour). I wanted something different that would brighten me up and lift my joie de vivre!!!
Well I chose the right place!!
Halle provided great advice about colour that would suit my complexion as well as something I’d be really happy with. I showed Michael a couple of styles I liked but basically I gave him carte blanche to weave his magic.
I can choose whether I want to ‘bother ’ with styling or let things happen naturally.
I’m truly delighted with my new style - it makes me feel light, fashionable and attractive. And I think it matches my young at heart attitude to life!

I called Steve after reading reviews on this site. Being new to Adelaide and knowing little about cars, I wanted to take my car to someone I could trust. I had actually booked it to the brand name service centre, but a quote for a 120,000 service of almost $900 left me reeling. On calling Steve for a quote he said that a basic service would cost me about $125, and even if more complex service was required it would cost nowhere near the amount quoted by the branded service centre. I took my list of the items that were going to be done there to Steve and he said that he would check all of those things. I left my car at 0830 and received a phone call by 1115 saying it was all done. When I got there Steve explained that all things that would have be done by the SC didn't need doing and that the only thing he found was that the front brakes would need doing at the next service in 10,000k's. I appreciated his explanations and his upfront nature. Of course I need some time to see how the car is performing, but am sure that I won't have any worries and that I'll be returning to Steve in 10,000km's.

From the moment I arrived and was greeted by Costa I felt a valued client and not just another money spinner. Cat evaluated my hair, asked me what I was hoping for - listened to what I was saying - and gave me a quote before handing me over to Bim for a wonderful and relaxing shampoo & treatment. Cat returned and started my transformation! Cutting is one thing - don't need to do that myself, but I find styling quite impossible. Cat explained what she was doing and how I could recreate the same at home, and more than once when I needed to clarify. Another part of the experience I appreciated was that noone pushed any product on me. When I arrived for my 8pm app't, the salon was busy and when finished, tho it was almost closing time, all the staff seemed to genuinely enjoy being there. I look forward to my next visit in 6 weeks.
