GREAT dining to suit every taste. The Dergah Grill downstairs serves incredible kebas. The Pulse serves lovely coffees, lattes, and tasty desserts. Loved it! The Garden Buffet downstairs was a nice mix of Chinese, American (no way), and Australian dining. Not a bad place to chow down.My main gripes were the phone in our room kept resetting and 75% of the time we stayed it wasn't working. They also nickel and dime you for internet access (the Business Center charged $6 per 15 minutes) and charge you PER DAY for room WiFi when it should be given free in a high-end place such as this. The drain in our sink was very slow and the staff never resolved the issue while we were there.

The place feels great and the decor looks good, quite cool I think when I saw the styling they had in mind when opening the place. There is an outside area at the back which has a nice atmosphere but we were sitting upstairs in one of the rooms and the vibe was good and different from most bars.  The drinks menu is good from what I saw but as I found out that there is $5 German cider, I went ahead and got that. Quite a good place to go after you have eaten dinner around the Glebe area or just want to find a place to drink with your friends.

Galuzzo's has been around for a while, since 1934 in fact, and still successfully maintains a high standard when it comes to being a local fruit market.  It's around the same size as Louis's a couple of blocks down the street and also has a fantastic inventory of produce.  When it comes to price, daily specials can be found.  The workers are helpful if you need help deciding what type of onion to use, or which kind of mango works better for your recipe.  They also carry a good selection of organic products (more expensive of course), like fresh juices among other things.  Keep in mind that Galuzzo's wholesales to local restaurants, meaning that you'll be able to find myriad herbs, specialty fruits (fresh or dried), and leafy greens.

This restaurant is located right by the water with a nice view. The decor inside with quite nice with timber floor throughout. It feels like stepping into a beach cabin. Had the fresh hand-shucked oysters as an entree. As for the main, the snapper pie was very delicious (this is one of the signature dish of the restaurant). All the other seafood dishes was scrumptious. Service was good.

My wife and I decided to walk into the Different Drummer not knowing about the venue or its food. We were attracted by the look and feel. Once inside, we were not disappointed. The staff were really friendly, helpful, happy to walk us through the menu and make great suggestions on what to eat. There is plenty of room, and an upstairs area that is less noisy if you want to have a good conversation. The food was excellent, nice portions, and a competitively priced wine list to choose from. The portions are quite big so start with a few shared plates and if you are still hungry keep ordering. It is also priced very competitively, so you can adequately eat and drink between two people and have change from $100 to get a cab home.

Approximate cost: $100

These guys are fantastic healers.  Just be prepared to shed a tear or two in the process. I came to see Mr Chen with a back injury (he specialises in sports injuries as well as herbs, acupuncture, massage and reflexology).  My back had worsened and worsened until I couldn't bend to pick up a glass, let alone tie my shoelaces.  I explained how I got the injury to Mr Chen, who in turn explained to me what he was going to do. I received a great massage and was very happy and prices are reasonable from $45, I would highly recommend if your in need of some relief pain.

Sutherland Library has a massive collection of books, I think they stock up on all the titles that I never ever seem to find what I'm looking for, On a return visit to Sutherland library I discovered another section. It is on the entry level and is a casual lounge type area with flat screen TV on, tables and chairs and coffee machine. It is meant to be for meeting and chatting but during the day there were just people studying there. So a quiet place with desks, power points and you don't need to put your stuff in a locker. I'm sure the peace of the area is subject to change so be prepared to pack up and head upstairs if noisy people arrive.

This review is for Sutherland Leisure Centre, Sutherland NSW

Sutherland Leisure Centre covers all areas when it comes to health, exercise and fun. The centre has two outdoor lap pools, an indoor lap pool and an area for aqua aerobics and a very large children's play pool. When you go on a weekend to swim laps, you may be put off by the amount of children running around, however there is usually a lane in the indoor or outdoor pool with no more than two people in it at its busiest time. The centre also has a small gym with all your basic machines, a large weights room and several group  fitness rooms. There is a nice cafe (that actually has excellent coffee) where mostly seniors and mums groups meet for coffee after their aqua aerobics. A very nice outdoor grassy patch to chillax in the sun after a workout, and generally lots of space to spread out. The food in the cafe is far from healthy, with chips, lollies, pies and sausage rolls. Prices are reasonable, you can swim on a casual basis or buy a swim card. They offer lots of different types of memberships available.

Been here a few times and their Chinese food is superb, everytime I visit I
always order the sweet and sour fish, some vegetarian fried rice and spring rolls which are amazing and full of flavour. The Sweet and Sour Fish was amazing and very happy with the food, my order came to a total of $22 so the prices are quite cheap for such beautiful food, the staff would always welcome you with a friendly hello and goodbye.
