A vibrant atmosphere, decorative interior with quirky artwork, this Thai Restaurant is a perfect fit for the hustle and bustle of the busy main drag of Newtown.

The menu boasts both traditional and non-traditional items - aka street food!

I have always been extremely satisfied with any meal I have had here. The pad thai is one to remember - a difficult feat for such a common dish.
There are also lots of gluten free options for those who require it.
The staff are friendly and efficient, and prices quite reasonable.
You also can have free cake on your birthday.

The only downsides are that they only take cash, and the kitchen can be quite loud when having a conversation.

A perfect stop before you hit the Dendy Cinema only 20m down King Street.

Fantastic boutique hairdressers! Greeted by the concierge as soon as you enter, you will be looked after from beginning to end of your visit. Coffee on tap (or champagne if you feel like something special), your every need will be tended to.

I have been to a few different hairdressers at this place, and each are just as lovely and easy to communicate your desire for your new 'do. Prices are quite high, but nothing out of the ordinary for the Eastern Suburbs.

Highly recommend if you are looking for your new hair salon to call home. I know I will be back without hesitation!

Simple, yet ever-satisfying authentic Japenese. Although Don Don's presents with a humble shopfront and interior, this place is not to be overlooked. Boasting a large menu, fresh food and hand rolled sushi to boot, this is my go to restaurant when ever I am in the city.

Staff are friendly, you can BYO, and the prices are insanely cheap for the large portions you receive!

Be sure to make this your next stop on Oxford Street.

You will never leave this Spanish Restaurant disappointed.

Every time I go, it is full to the max, but don't let this deter you! This is just a testament to the amazing experience that people come back to time and time again.

The food is fresh and flavours plentiful. With a large tapas menu, there are options for those new to Spanish cuisine and for those well versed in the menu. The sizzling garlic prawns are an absolute must; a dish I order every time.

The tapas serves are very satisfactory in size, you will only need about 3-4 between two! There are also wood fire pizzas made to order.

Don't forget the sangria for a full experience!

Great vibe with a community feel. The cafe has a nice, quiet courtyard out the back away from the hustle and bustle of the busy roads. Fantastic gluten free options are also available (important for me) - I recommend the GF banana bread!

Great place for a catch up with friends or to disappear into a good book while getting your coffee fix.

A great Japanese food and cocktail bar.
The food was superb - the dumplings are a must! I ordered "Snoop's Chicken" - a dish supposedly sampled by Snoop Dog himself, that was extremely enjoyable.
The cocktail selection is quite extensive and very good quality. The service was a little slow when I was there (especially for the cocktails) but is worth the wait in my opinion.
The place is pretty quiet earlier on in the evening before everything kicks off in Kings Cross, so I would recommend going there earlier rather than later if you were after a more relaxed evening. For the other party going patrons, this would be a great place to start your night off with dinner and drinks as you're only a hop, step and jump from the night clubs when the time comes.

This is a really good thai on King street - there are so many it can be hard to pick a quality one!
I am a big fan of judging a thai place by the quality of its Pad Thai dish. Thai Passion certainly delivers in this respect.
The prices are reasonable and the service very prompt and pleasing.
The restaruant interior is spacious yet cosy - a good place for a quiet sit down meal or a large group gathering.

This is a dining experience with a community heart. This is a not-for-profit, pay as you feel - kind of deal. The proceeds from donations given by the customers go towards a number of worthy charities so you will leave having your karma (as well as hunger) fully satisfied.
There are generally 3 main meals (plus desert) to choose from. The food is so mouth-wateringly tasty, you would never even know it was vegan. You could take the most dedicated meat lover to the establishment and even they could not deny the brilliance of the dishes. The serving sizes are also very, very generous!
The staff are mainly volunteers who deliver genuine service with a smile.
The seating can be a bit cramped at times, but that just goes to show how popular this place really is.
A definite MUST, for everyone to experience. You will definitely find yourself coming back again and again, just as I have.

I love my thai food and this place is hands down the best I have sampled in Sydney. The food is very authentic, generous portions are provided and above all else, is just delicious. The staff are warm and friendly and very prompt with their service. I will admit, I do prefer to order takeaway as the interior of the restaurant is not all too special but is still pleasant when looking for a sit down meal.
A must try for anyone in Sydney.

Tek's is great for those last minute household or costume purchases that you struggle to find in other stores. I regularly come here when I need a costume or accessories to go along with it. The prices are reasonable for variety shop and they have a very extensive range of just about everything. Little did I know, there is an upstairs as well full of furniture and more household items. I definitely recommend stopping in at Tek's for anything you need.
