I was expecting the same boring Museum that I went To as a child. How this museum has changed. I took my GDaughter(aged 5), specifically to see the Dinosaurs, but we spent most of our time in the Discovery Centre. This has displays of animals, birds, insects, frogs, marine life, old toys, old cameras, old bottles, old tins, old tools and much more. Under each display are interactive drawers that you can pull out to view more exhibits. There is a mock classroom with the old desks, blackboard and slate writing boards. You can write on slates and sit at the very old desks. There is a live display that includes frogs , stick insects, snakes and goannas. Here you can count the number of stick insects in the cage and then check with the assistant to see if you have the correct amount. My GDaughter paid $2.50 and decorated / dressed a wooden peg with craft supplies provided. She also played with the old toys - spinning tops, knuckle bones ,pull along toys and wooden jigsaws. We both had great fun with the knuckle bones. Other exhibits at the Museum included Dinosaurs and a large butterfly display as well as the usual mammals, reptiles etc.
At the moment there is a paid exhibition of Wedding Dresses through the last 100 years- not viewed. But my GDaughter loved the Dinosaur in the main entrance that had on a wedding veil and carried a posey of flowers.
Lunch was at the Muse Cafe ( at Museum), kids meals on the menu. Very reasonable prices.
There was an interactive play area outside the main entrance that included musical instruments, xylophones and talking / listening tubes.
This was a great day enjoyed by us both. Topped off with a train ride to and from Perth.

I have been dealing with Greg at this business for many years. Greg not only provides invaluable information re the accounting issues required to run a business but he is always available to answer all inquires and if unsure of a issue he will seek out the information. Greg does our individual and yearly taxation but also does the 1/4 BAS and GST statements. I find all the staff at this business are pleasant and accommodating, no issue or enquiry is too much trouble.

This Veterinary Hospital is where I take my cat and Dog for their regular injections. The staff are always pleasant and although I make an appointment you can arrive without one. It was to this Hospital that I took my Cat after she became extremely I.ll- off her food, loosing weight and eventually having trouble walking, kept falling over. After the Vet checked her I was told that she couldn't find and lumps, enlarged organs And that as she was an old cat that it was probable old age. I made the decision to have my cat euthanised . The Vet did this ,wrapping my cat in a towel ,with a rose placed on top for me to take her home for burial. My beloved cat is now buried in my rosé garden.

This Heritage garden is at 283 Southwest Highway, located behind the Harvey Visitors Centre and next to Stirling Cottage Cafe. The gardens belong to the Shire of Harvey and are beautifully kept. The garden is now in full bloom with the Monach Butterfly's everywhere. This is a favourite place to visit with my GDaughter and today she was sitting in the garden amongst the butterfly's . We fed the ducks in the Harvey River that borders the garden and walked along the path that runs around the garden. The garden hAs two picnic tables , grassed areas and numerous benches where you can sit and enjoy the garden. There is a mini orchard at the rear of the garden. Not only were the butterfly's in proliferation but the lizards were also out basking in the sun around the Cafe and garden.

I had to use the services of the Veterinarian when my horse developed colic. My horse was extremely ill ,in a lot of pain and trying to lie down and roll- can cause twisting of horses bowel which is fatal. After calling the Vet, she arrived at my house within 30 minutes. She examined my horse ,gave him a pain killer injection then drenched him. My horse appeared to
improve but within 3 hours he was ill again. The Vet returned to treat my horse again with pain killers and drenching and then we waited and waited for a positive result. After my horses condition failed to improve we were faced with the decision of euthanasia. Luckely my horses condition eventually improved and I cannot praise the Vet enough. She not only provided excellent service, she showed understanding and compassion towards my horse and any decisions I made. We were in constant communication with her for 3 days after the event either she rang me or I rang her with updates on my horses condition.

My dog,Jessie had developed a large lump near one of her nipples . I thought it may have been a cancerous lump so took her to Vet West in Currambine. Jesse was seen by Dr Chad, the Vet and I was advised that it would be best to have the lump removed from Jesse and sent it off for testing. Jesse was operated on in the morning by Dr Chad and I picked her up in the afternoon. She had a large number of stitches and a bucket like contraption over her head to stop her biting at the stitches. Luckely the test results came back as no cancer. I was extremely impressed with Dr Chad, very professional, compassionate, and genuinely concerned for Jesses welfare. The operation was explained fully to me including what could be the outcome if it was discovered to be cancer. I would definitely recommend this Vet Hospital and Dr Chad for all your pets needs.

This award winning bakery centrally located in town. There is ample parking out the front but I prefer to park over the road in the information bay. They provide cold drinks, coffee, cakes as well as sandwiches and hot takeaway food. I have stopped here for coffee and cake. The selection of cakes is huge, took a while to decide what I wanted.
Coffee was excellent, cake was delicious.

I had 2 sliding Security doors made and installed by this company. The doors weren't adjusted correctly and we couldn't get the handles to work properly. It turned out that the handles had been fitted upside down and inside out. It was only that my husband had been in this trade that we worked out the mistake. When the company was contacted they did arrive the next day to rectify the error.
This company is part of a larger group called InterGlass and I feel that the business is too big and it was better for me to deal with a smaller local company.

Every week I drive past this business and today I decided to stop and view their store. This store has handmade craft products - quilts, knitting and sewing - they also sell fruit and vegetable plants, preserves, pickle and sauces. I bought Mulberry Jam for myself and Lemon Butter for my neighbour. The Mulberry jam is delicious even have my G Daughter eating it on her toast. Still waiting to try Lemon Butter.
I also bought a small bag of purple garlic - locally grown not imported from China or Mexico, so it hasn't been treated with chemicals. Iam hoping to grow a few plants front this garlic.
Cost of jams was $5.00 each for average size jar and $3.30 for the garlic.

This review is for West Coast Screens And Doors, Kelmscott WA

I have recently had a Security door and security screens fitted to my house by Steve Godden of West Coast Flyscreens and Doors. Very please with the efficient service provided - prompt arrival at my house at date and time designated to give me a written quote. Given approx date for installation I was rung within 2 days of that date to arrange date and time for installation. Again very efficient. Steve provided the door and screens in Invisigard Stainless Steel and I am very pleased with them. My only mistake was NOT getting Steve to make and install the sliding security screens for me.
The company and Steve hold a Security Agent Licence and are members of the Security Agents Institute of WA.
I had 11 Security screens and a front Security door fitted for cost of $5160. A very competitive price cheaper than another local company.
I would recommend this company as Steve Gooden is the owner of West Coast Flyscreens and Doors and he also comes to the house to give the quote and it is Steve who installs the screens and doors.
