It is such a popular Italian restaurant in Mackay. On one of the busiest streets, it's important to book in advance so that you don't miss your dinner seats. The waiters are attentive to make sure we had water bottles to top up our glasses. Last but not least, the marinara pizzas are my favorite all time dishes.

My housemate and I live in this rental property which requires gas to run hot water. We once ran out of gas in the evening, so I rung The Gas Cylinder up the next day, and they were able to deliver a gas cylinder to our place on the same day we order it. But I was very surprised that the 2 of us have used up a 40 L gas cylinder ($140) in 3 months. Hope it's only a co-incident and that we won't be running out of the new cylinder so soon in the winter!

I went there for breakfast last week with a few friends on a Sat morning. I ordered the eggs on toast which was meant to be $10.00, and the girl mistaken it was another meal that I was referring to, so she wanted to charge me $13.00. I had to point it out to her to explain exactly which one I was ordering. Then it took us a good 1/2 hour before the breakfast came. The quality of meal was pretty good, as well as the atmosphere. Overall, it would have been nicer if the meal arrived a little quicker, especially if one were to go there for a breakfast on a weekday.

I went there for a 2-course lunch with a group of colleagues once. The Italian couple there are very fine chefs/cooks. The meals prepared are well beyond executed. Atmosphere is so tranquil and peaceful it is the perfect place to have quality meals with your close family and friends. I will definitely go there again for another meal. You can also join them for their group cooking class which costs about $60.00 to make a 3-course meal, and you get to sit down afterwards to enjoy what you've cooked!

Being the only cinema in Hervey Bay, I really appreciate the availability of this Bigscreen cinema, which provides perfect entertainment to anyone from kids, couples to the whole family. What I like about it in particular is the choc-top ice-cream that you can buy from the kiosk. Inside the ice-cream, there are several macademia nuts mixed in which gives crunchiness while indulging the ice-cream. It's a great item to enjoy while watching your favourite movie!

This restaurant doesn't seem to be well advertised locally. I only found its existence through the docket coupon at the back of the local library's receipt when you borrow books out. The restaurants aren't open at the opening hours they state at all times, which makes it hard to determine when to go have a meal or not, just in case we miss them... I terms of the meals, most of them are seafood, but they do have a few non-seafood choices which make it less restricted to others who are not seafood lovers. Otherwise, the quality of meals are pretty good.

It was my birthday last month. So being a member of the Subway (you can join them on their website), I was offered a free 6-inch sub on my birthday, as long as I activate it and use it within 12 hours. The girl who served me was very friendly, even though she knew she was preparing me a free subway! I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Strongly recommend the teriyaki chicken sub.

I haven't had Boost Juice for a long time, so one time I walked past it on a hot humid day, I ordered a mango green tea smoothie. The taste was not exactly what I was hoping for; and the more I sipped, the more watery the drink seems to be - perhaps there were too much ice added to it? May be I should have gone for the creamy smoothie like chocolate instead? Anyway, it wasn't very sweet which I guess made it a pretty healthy drink option.

I had lunch with my friend at this place during a hot summer day. I ordered a mushroom, porcini, thyme, truffle oil pizze which was nearly to die for. The portion size was definitely generous. Would have been a perfect meal if I had the option to add some protein to it to make it a complete meal. Best to eat with a big group of friends where you get to try their other wide range of pizzes as well as other menu items. The place is a bit too warm though without air-con.

I once had an afternoon tea with my friend on a weekend there. We ordered Vanilla Rooibos tea, which came in with a beautiful modern teapot, teacup set, and a timer that helped count down 5 mins before the tea is well infused into the hot water. I thoroughly enjoyed the quality of the tea. Will consider trying their desserts/sweets next time.
