We went here for a quick dinner. You can tell by the restaurant that most of their business is take away, it's very plain and old, but the service was still decent. On recommendation by several friends, we ordered the parmigiana and were not disappointed.
it was huge! and delicious, probably one of the best parmas I've had. We also ordered the ribs, again huge servings and so good! we walked away with full bellies for around $40 with a couple of drinks.
The menu is very simple, and very traditional. But they have found what they do exceptionally well and stuck to that.

We return here time and time again just for the hot chocolates! made from lindt chocolates, they are served in a large glass. The cakes are all delicious too. Service is quick and the staff are very friendly and attentive. There are several cosy couches, as well as small tables and large communal tables.
The restaurant is open most saturday nights, but book ahead to make sure.
The atmosphere is super cosy, with fairy lights and decorations around the room.

I found this to be the best mexican restaurant around.
The food is delicious, the serves are generous and service is usually great. If it's busy, the food can take a while to come out.
Monday through Wednesday nights most meals are half price. You have to book for these nights, and they have two sittings. The tables are quite close together so when the restaurant is full, it's quite loud. Not the kind of place to linger over a meal, but great value and great food.

we chose the kerasma menu- a little taste of many things.
The food was superb, so tasty. The staff were very attentive, it was my birthday and the staff went out of their way to make our experience special. the timing of the courses was great, not too rushed. Lots of little touches and attention to detail completed our meal. A great place for a special occaision, I would definately recommend The Press Club. I can't wait to go back!

They have just opened up a new store, looks fantastic, very welcoming. there is such a big range it is always hard to choose! So many traditional Italian cakes as well as other sweets.

Will go here time and time again. Food is honest, simple and fantastic. Staff are all so friendly and helpful. Can't go past the raspberry tart :) Coffee is fantastic. The food is all made on premise, and you can taste the quality.

We arrived on a Saturday night with no booking, and were given a nice table by the window. Service was pretty good, but I don't like my waitresses caked in make up and with false eyelashes!
We didn't have to wait too long for our pizza and pasta. The food itself was delicious, as was our dessert. However, I think it is way overpriced for the location and service levels. I have eaten in formal restaurants in Melbourne that cost the same.
And several times during the night the owner stepped just outside the front door with one of the floor staff for a cigarette. Definately would not have gone in if I had seen this earlier. After we had been served our desserts and coffee, it felt like we were forgotten. We paid the bill at the door with dirty plates still on our table.
I think they have a way to go before they can justify the prices here. The service level must catch up to the standard of food

I ate there with my partner and a friend mid week for dinner.
It wasn't that busy, we got served pretty quickly.
We shared the seafood platter and a couple of pizzas.
The seafood was great, and the pizzas were the best I've had in ages- delicious toppings and thin crispy base.
The staff also didn't mind that we didn't order any drinks, and shared everything.
We'll definately go back there

We went without a booking, but were able to score a table outside. There is no liquor licence for the outside table but the waitress made sure we knew that before we accepted the table.
Service was great, the staff were attentive without being pushy.
Most of the meals are quite expensive, but great value for money- the servings are huge and the food is delicious!! there are a few cheaper options as well.
The wait was not too bad considering the restaurant was full, we waited about 1/2 an hour.
Definitely would recommend and return.

The food was average but plentiful. I was surprised though that for a German restaurant the "German Specialties" were below average. The show was fun if not a little corny. Would only go back if invited to a special occasion. Not too bad for a whole experience but have been to better restaurants.
