I used to love coming here but stopped when it started to become overcrowded. There seems to be no limit to the numbers of people they allow into the group exercise classes. Once the doors open people storm into the room like stampeding cattle. Every available inch of floor space is taken up. Very stressful experience. The other thing I really hated was that they closed for much of January, which is when I have a lot of free time. The place was actually closed for the first week of January while they redid the floors. Despite having paid for membership, there were no classes. Very disappointing. They don't seem to really care about their members.

Beautiful flowers, great service and great gifts. I have moved out of the area, but still visit Donvale to buy my flowers.

After waiting for an eternity for a coffee, I was served the worst coffee I have ever had. The person serving was also incredibly rude. I will never have coffee at McDonalds again!

Beautiful setting located at the romantic artist's retreat of Montsalvat. This place is great for lunch, dinner or just a coffee and cake.

This is one of my favourite places to take overseas or interstate visitors. Exquisite views, fabulous food and wines to die for. Love it!!! Almost afraid to post this in case too many people start to go there.

I ordered a Thai beef salad - the beef tasted off, so I left my meal untouched. When I complained to the manager, I was told that it couldn't possibly be off as other people had not complained. There were only 4 other people in the restaurant and they were not eating the Thai beef salad, so I failed to see the logic. The woman was quite rude and looked at me as if I was trying to get a free meal. All I wanted was some acknowledgment or apology.

Really love my gel nails. Andrea is lovely and very professional. I have had this service done once before and the woman left me with bleeding cuticles - the experience was very unpleasant. Andrea has restored my confidence in manicurists. I travel from Warranwood - it's so worth it. I love that my nails are chip-free for so long!!!

I have to totally agree with the other comments on this site: awesome service!! Paul is truly wonderful to deal with - friendly telephone manner, reliable, called to let me know he was on his way, cleaned up all the rubbish quickly, easily, with no fuss - an absolute delight to deal with. I wish all service people were like him!!! It was so much easier than hiring a skip. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him.

I always enjoy eating here. The service, food and atmosphere are all wonderful. I think it's great value and they have a wonderful vegetarian selection. Not many restaurants I can say that about. Love it!!

Horrible experience. Don't normally like buffets but it was my friend's daughter's birthday celebration so went along. Don't worry, my friend assured me as we watched a bus load of pensioners queuing up for the food, they will replenish everything. They don't normally run out. Famous last words. Maybe they didn't run out of the things she wanted but everything I wanted to eat had gone but the time I got there. It was like feeding time at the zoo! Then to add insult to injury, the rudest waitress (cleaner? not exactly sure what she was) proceeded to get in the way of just about everybody. When asked if there was more food coming out, she snapped, I'll get some in a minute!! I had had enough by this stage and told her she was really rude. So she chased me (no kidding!) she literally ran after me back to my table and in front of our party, caused the biggest scene. "what do you mean, I'm rude?" she shouted at me...."I have great people skills" she continued. I was just in shock and wanted to get out of there. I have never been so rudely treated in a restaurant in my whole life. I will never, ever go back there. In hindsight I should have spoken to a manager but I was just too stunned.
