Sam has just completed a roof restoration on our block of 4 units: high-pressure water-washing the roof, replacing cracked tiles, repointing the whole roof, & recoating the 50-60 year old concrete tiles. His response to our enquiries was prompt & helpful, as was the service his tradesmen provided in doing the job. We have no sarking under the tiles & were concerned with water ingress during the pressure washing. However, it appears that the wash pressure was controlled well & no water ingress into the roof space was visible.
The tradesmen appeared competent in doing the work, & the outcome, as observed from the ground, looks to be very pleasing. The initial price was competitive (we got many other quotes before awarding the job to United Trade Links), but I was disappointed that the price rose by 10% during the 2-3 months it took us to investigate the quotes & award the contract.
Overall, a job done well & promptly.
