Delicious and genuine Japanese Izakaya style food. The grills are amazing and have a nice and subtle charcoal aroma to it! Great work!

Came here for dinner on a Saturday night, there was a queue but it moved quickly. We were seated inside where we were given 1.5hours to finish our dinners. If you opted to sit at the counter, it was unlimited time. Good variety on the menu. Typical japanese service - as you enter or leave, the wait staff would greet you in Japanese, service in general was quick as orders are via an iPad and food is cooked as they orders come in. Decor inside and outside of the restaurant brought me back to Japan.
Ordered some sashimi, agedashi tofu, skewers, salad - all fresh and nicely flavoured. The only complaint we had were the prices of the dishes, as they were tipping on the higher end of the scale for the same fare we would be able to get elsewhere for slightly less. Overall, great hangout joint with good food.

A nice place to eat out with friends. I came here with two other people and we were seated at a long seat. They offered to place your bags in this cloth construction, which means your bag doesn't touch the floor! You order from the iPad and it was fairly easy. A nice Japanese atmosphere, almost felt like I was in Japan again. The waiters constantly greet all new customers and shout out to each other in Japanese as well. Very typical, Japanese service. We ordered periodically and our food generally came in 5-10 minutes. My okonomiyaki arrived in 5 minutes. It was a bit weird for me. There was a lot of salty sauce at the bottom and made the dish a bit soggy. The addition of bean sprouts was a little odd too. But this may be a regional difference in regards to the dish, but it was a bit of a disappointment. But the takoyaki was nice and the tofu was good as well. My friend had the tempura udon. The udon was okay, but the tempura vegetables was served on a separate plate. This means your tempura won't get soggy in the soup (and apparently, the tempura is light and crispy too). Overall, a great Izakaya experience in the heart of Sydney.

Easily full during dinner time, so it is better to book before you go (usually gives you 1.5hr to finish your food). Finally got in to the shop this week, thought it would be really nice but I was a bit disappointed. The place is nice, service was great (order your food from the ipad :) pretty sweet right?) but the food isn't as good as I thought it would be, perhaps my expectation was too high? I don't know. I wouldn't say its not tasty but just did not quite reach my expectations.
