Good ramen at decent prices. There is always a queue, and they don't take bookings so avoid peak hours. Broths are flavoursome and can be toned down if you want it less salty (just let the wait staff know when you order). The Pork Rice Ball is yummy - good for quick meal if you are in a hurry. Gyoza, Karaage Chicken are a favourite in that joint as well.
Small place, so prams are not recommended. More than likely if it is peak hours, one would have to share a table.

Specialising in traditional Japanese Teishoku cuisine, Yayoi opened its first joint in Sydney in 2014. There is another outlet in Chatswood recently as well.
Well priced, set meals for all types of diners alike. No bookings allowed so one will be in for a wait if they hit peak hours of lunch or dinner. Food is well prepared, served in a decent time.

Restaurant has a relaxed warm setting and is operated by a talented passionate chef. We ordered the Oven baked figs & gorgonzola, wrapped in prosciutto, Deep fried anchovies-ricotta filled zucchini flowers, Squid ink fettuccine w home made bottarga, zucchini, chilli & pippies, Rigatoni w Italian sausage ragu’ in tomato sauce and Seadas: fried pastry parcels of pecorino and citrus zest, drizzled w honey - all came beautifully prepared and full of flavour.
Service was a little lacking but that's probably because it was a really busy evening. Otherwise, a decent a suburban joint.

Stylish place inspired by industrial-era New York, plating upscale Modern Australian cuisine with a good menu. As it is located in the heart of the CBD and set amongst office buildings, it's a favourite amongst business associates for meetings over breakfast, lunch or dinner. The Spanner Crab Spaghettini and Wild Mushroom Pappardelle are beautifully prepared. Plenty of choices on the menu to suit across all types of diners. The joint has a bar as well. Friendly, knowledgeable wait staff with a great service.

Nice area with a farm concept (there are rows of vegetables growing in the veggie patch area), a chicken pen (some a handful of chooks running around and coming up to say hello) and playground area for kids. Good outdoor hang out place for groups of friends and families alike. Food quality is decent, price a little high for the quantity. Friendly service.

Small place, always crowded especially on weekends. Truffle season now, so their menu includes their infamous French Toast Tiramisu and Truffle, and Truffle Hot Chocolate. Both made with quality ingredients and care.
Place won't fit prams inside, but there are a couple of outdoor tables which will fit families with prams.

Some good dishes there, which are value for money and full of flavours (such as the Nasi Padang). Some are a little hit and miss. Overall, still a good joint to satisfy craving for traditional Indonesian food. Gets crowded so be there early or after the peak hour rush. Suits family, students as well as individuals looking for a quick takeaway. Opens Tuesday to Sunday from 11am.

Great authentic Italian food. Friendly, knowledgeable wait staff and Sommelier on hand to provide recommendations as well as to assist with requirements of a most fussy diner.
Each dish cooked to perfection.

If you like heat, this is the place. That said, there is a small variety of non-spicy food on the menu. Service is mediocre. Went with a group of 15 and during lunch time, hence service was lacking. Good quality food but are a tad on the higher end of the scale price-wise.

Came here while on a visit to a friend's. Always bustling and crowded. Tried the infamous watermelon cake, and Yuzu Sesame cake - they are decent but not quite sure warrant the price tag of an average of $8-ish each. Preferred the Yuzu Sesame more. Also tried their coffee and bacon and egg slider which were average.
