It feels like Wilson Parking hate working mothers.
They recently changed the pricing at all their Perth CBD city parks so that the only option available (other than hourly rate) to daily parking is early bird parking where the parker has to leave after 3.30pm. Not user friendly when you have kids that finish school at 3.15/3.30 and you need to leave the city at 3pm. I spoke to them and they couldn't give a hoot.

Our family went to Perth zoo this father's day weekend and since the zoo car park is full we parked at Wilson car park and paid 11aud for 4 hours. Our children had such great time at the zoo that by the time we headed back to wilson car park our parking time has lapsed by 30 minutes. We were fined 65aud! Rude business.

We parked at this Wilson parking area in Fremantle. Its an open car park located near Coles.
The car park is full of rubbish and isn't very secure, but they have the audacity to charge $4 for 30 minutes.
Very disappointing.

Approximate cost: $8.40

I went on a 9 night cruise leaving from Sydney and found the wilson carpark to be closest to the cruise ship terminal and the most fairly priced.

I had to let the attendant know the details of my car and how long i would be gone, then on collection i paid the fees in cash, without a hitch.
My car was safe and secure and just as i left it and i would definetly use them again. Parking in the city of sydney, longer term, can be expensive but it only cost me about $130, which i was more than happy with.

Unfortunately I had to park in a Wilson Carpark in Northbridge for a few months in 2008. I had heard from fellow workers that their ticket machines were pretty unreliable if paying with coins so I decided to use credit card instead. A lot of the time I would put in my $8.00 in coins, then get no ticket and no money back. I would then have to go to work, sit on the phone for ages to them, report the problem, then go and put a note on my car. I started using the credit card instead, god was that a mistake. They didn't process a single transaction for months, then all of a sudden, about $300 taken out in one day. This became the norm, no processing, then hundreds of dollars out in one go making it impossible to keep track of what day the transaction is for. I was told by Wilson Parking admin staff that it can take up to two weeks to process a credit card transaction. Well it's now over 8 MONTHS since I've been anywhere near a Wilson car park and I'm still getting charged on my credit card. I have to constantly check my credit card account to make sure they haven't charged me again. Even after being promised in December last year that I wouldn't be charged again, I've had numerous payments put through to my card. I have to keep emailing them telling them to give my money back. I consider this theft and I know there must be hundreds of people in my position. My brother parks there, pays everyday and has received a notice saying he's on a wheel clamp list for not paying for a ticket. Luckily he keeps all the tickets to prove it. Whatever you do, DON'T USE YOUR CREDIT CARD WITH THIS COMPANY.

Credit card companies will sometimes process a backlog of transactions, if the merchant accepted your card (as Wilson Parking did), but once the transaction is sent to the bank for processing their is insufficient funds in the account or it is over the maximum limit. So the problem might be with Steve r Lathlain not Wilson Parking.

If the fault was mine, I'd cop it no problem, but my credit card is paid off every day. Every time I pay for something on credit, I transfer the funds immediately and my card has never come close to reaching it's limit. This is happening to a lot of people, but many wouldn't be aware, it's only because I know I don't park in Wilson car parks anymore that it stands out straight away on my statement.

Fantastic customer service. Always friendly and do exactly what they say they wil do! Emailed head office regarding a quote for long term parking and within 10 minutes one of their QLD staff called me with all the information I required. Asked him to email me the paperwork and he did it immediately.

Approximate cost: $330
