Had a really enjoyable meal here recently. Staff were fantastic, they were polite, efficient and a attentive. They were also short staffed on this occasion which made the service even that much more impressive. Lots of things to choose from on the menu, everyone was catered for. Food was tasty, nothing mind-blowing, but well presented, filling and good. The venue itself is really nice. The only complaint I'd have about our visit was seating. We were placed next to a really large table of half adults, half children. It's clearly not the fault of the restaurant that the kids were incredibly loud, obnoxious and plain annoying, but perhaps something could have been arranged that this table were more isolated or at least no one else placed near it. Would definitely go back here in the future and look forward to it.

Attempted to dine with our two children (2 and 4 years) but after waiting more than an hour for our meals my son (4) was asleep and daughter (2) to tired to eat. The meals were so bad that both Kim and I ate only a few mouthfuls before leaving. My daughters meal, fish and chips, was a single portion of frozen, processed, crumbed fish straight from a box in the supermarket and a large pile of chips cooked in fat (not oil) which was too cold. My son's pizza which we had to argue to take away (because he was asleep) was not effort as it only filled up our bin at home.

Approximate cost: $20

Julian GovanG: Thank you for your honest (although troubling) rating. It amazes me how some businesses continue to remain functional in Ballarat. I can only assume it is by the frequent visits of personal family/friends. I look forward to reading more of your reviews in the future and hope that you discover some of the better places in which to dine.

We were so put off by our first visit here that we have decided we will probably never return. The food wasn't a disaster but it certainly wasn't exceptional Italian food, in some regards you could do better at home yourself.

Approximate cost: $15

Was treated to dinner at this restaurant by a friend. Even though I wasn't paying for the meal, it was not a pleasant experience.

We ended up waiting around 45 minutes to have our food brought to us, though the restaurant was half-full. I had ordered the seafood pizza, and the only way to describe it was pathetic. I could have done a better job (and saved some money) buying a base and some prawns from coles. None of the ingredients were identifiable, and it tasted like aluminum. The salad was a few leafs on the side. Drinks standard restaurant prices, all beer from CUB (not worth it).

Friend's meal looked very basic, and was barely passable from reports.

Approximate cost: $16-35

I can't believe I haven't been there before. Took family of 9 (3 kids under 6) and everyone was impressed not only with meal but surroundings. Service was faultless. Meals were so delicious we are going back soon. Extremely reasonably priced for the quantity and quality of meals.

Approximate cost: $20

LAST EXPERIENCE OUR ORDER DIDN'T GET THROUGH TO THE KITCHEN, AT LEAST AN HOUR BEFORE THIS WAS NOTICED, MINIMAL DRINK SERVICE, NO REAL OFFER OF APOLOGY E.G. DISCOUNT, FREE DRINK OR SOMETHING
