Bad service

Been supporting Urban groove for 15 years. Booked a table for four three weeks ago and when we turned up they had double booked our table. Offered us another table which was not appropriate for our business meeting, but refused to offer the other table to the other people. I found that extremely rude. The manager who booked our table turned her back and didn't even offer an apology. The service has gone down drastically over the last couple of months. Have to usually ask can we have water. It seems that when you become a regular they disrespect you. The key word in hospitality is hospitality, doesn't matter how you feel on the day you welcome your customers and respect their patronage. So we took our selves to Infuse spent $300.00 on our meeting, had a brilliant meal and really good service. Won't be back.

I've eaten here a few times now, and it's alright but too pricey. Service is always fantastic, waiters are all very friendly and attentive

Always busy and bustling whether you're here for breakfast or dinner. Urban Grooves is a bit of an institition in Greensborough. A regular catch up spot for many locals, however it can sometimes be a bit overpriced compared to other cafes in Montmorency or Eltham. Quality of the food is good, mostly bistro style. They also have a full bar and good range of cakes for dessert. It's worth booking if you're going for dinner as it sometimes books out.
There is plenty of parking available behind the shopping strip of in the Plaza Target carpark, as there is no street parking on Main Rd.

Everytime i go the food is nice. Nice atmosphere and good coffee. Would just need to say that staff could be a bit more friendly and helpful. Otherwise, a good place to try

I come here almost every time I visit my family in Melbourne. It's the perfect place to catch up with a few friends, and it's cosy and inviting on a cold winter's day. The food is decent, if nothing super special, but it's always been a safe place to suggest when meeting people.

I regularly meet up with friends or a coffee and cake at this place. The service is good however they do get very busy and at times it hard to get onto a waiter. The desserts are delicious!

Definitely one of the most popular cafes in Greensborough; they make excellent coffee, and have a wide and varied dining menu. Only two things let this place down - one is the price, where each dish is overpriced by maybe a few dollars, and the other is the service. Very rarely have we eaten there and had no errors made by the serving staff in procesing our order. One time we went there for my wife's birthday, and hey forgot to bring her meal out twice (we eventually got it free, and took it away with us as we were leaving). That said, as we have been back several times, one can easily overlook these minor shortcomings. A popular and trendy Greensborough favourite.

Great food and service, everything was served promptly and we didn't have to book a table. Lovely atmosphere. Will be back again.
