Have been coming here since the first owners were around. The fried chicken laska, prawn mee and wa tan hor are a favourite and are prepared upon order. Good value as servings are quite substantial for the prices charged.
Can get pretty busy during lunch hour, so do expect a queue.
Approximate cost: $9.50
Very authentic Malaysian restaurant, my favourite lunch time food was the "Wah Tan Hor" (fried keow teow with seafood)!
Hidden away at street level in Miller Street. To's serves close to the best (if not the best) satay chicken sticks and Laksa in Sydney - a must try venue. Busy at lunchtimes, so seating can be at a premium.
Approximate cost: $12.00
Came here with my family once and thought that the food was quite alright. I've tried better but it actually wasn't that bad here. They had pretty good serving and were all smiles to me and my family. I tried one of their soup based noodles with tom yum.
Tucked off Miller street, there's To's Malaysian Gourmet. Packed on a Sat morning and weekday lunches, it serves up rustic and authentic Malaysian cooking.1
Approximate cost: $12
