I really only come here if work Colleagues make me, and when they do it's for the $10 burgers. Which include Pulled Pork, Beef, Chicken and I think there's two other burgers on the special menu for diner. All come with chips and aoli and are well worth the visit.

Drinks are reasonable for the area. Chivas and Coke for $9.50 ($4 cheaper than a nearby bar with a "Verandah") always seems to have room and a table, even on a Friday night, as it's not the best after works venue. A bit lowbrow I think for the North Sydney suits.

But I got no complaints, staff do their job and aren't out the back hitting on eachother or patrons, so you get your drinks in a timely fashion. No huge pokie room which is a good thing and an upstairs area, hence why there's always enough room. Though some drinks/specials available are not available at all bars which is weird.

Check this place out if in the area and feel unpretentious.

Approximate cost: $9.50

This is a great place to come for drinks after work or grab to lunch. The aetting is warm, comfortable and spacious. The lamb shanks and mash are delicious and so are the calamaris.

Super comfy booths, cheap meals with a drink purchase, nice friendly staff, what more could you ask for! Scratch that, I can ask for decent music! lol :-) the music didn't kill me, but it also didn't endear me to the place. Shame, it ticks all the other boxes. Did I mention the super dooper comfy booths??

Schnitzel and salad with chips, lamb shank mash potato $12 each meal. The schnitzel had non gravox gravy, the salad was tops, the mash fresh not from a packet, the lamb shank and sauce really tender and fresh off the bone sauce. THe ambience is congenial to good interaction and the rating given for the meal is because of its comparison to five star food but the cost makes it five star for this part of the world. An economic meal of worthy proportions and definitely edible to most palates. Try this place for your meet up or upstairs with a bigger group of friends.

Approximate cost: $`12

Great place for after work drinks, the $10 meals are value for money and are large and tasty. Nice setup, outdoor area and quite a big place! Would recommend.

Good place to head for a drink a after work. Staff can vary in their willingness to serve you, and the speed at which they do. Overall the place is fit-out well, and comfortable.

That's a great place to have a drink, catch up with friends or just relax. They have 2 different levels and also an open balcony, and a reasonable price. I fully recommend!

This is a favorite with everyone for after work drinks. Relaxed and very nice looking pub. Upstairs features big comfy lounges to sit on while eating, having drinks ect.
