Meals are small but so so delicious and well worth the money. I tried the octopus entree and a cider and had the best time with my girlfriend. Beautiful view.

We have called in here a few times for a quick bite after shopping and to sit and have a meal with kids after being in the city for the day. There is something for everybody on the menu. Its lovely sitting outside on a nice sunny day enjoying the city surrounds....

I used to come here after work sometimes during winter and sit at the front by the river. When it got too cold, I would lounge by the fireplace inside, or outside under one of the big heaters which work a treat! You can even pick up a blanket if you like, they have them especially for people like me who like to rug up and get cozy! They do hot milo in a tin mug so of course this place became an instant favourite, but they also have a full bar and restaurant menu too which is a bit refined, clean "Docklands style" food without the pretension. I came here for breakfast one and it cost $50 for two including drinks, which is pricey, but it WAS a pretty fabulous breakfast. Great if you want to indulge and relax at the same time, but not for every day.
I sometimes bring out of town friends here to impress them without seeming to try. This is the perfect place to just lounge for a while and catch up with old friends. The atmosphere changes in summer - as it's by the water and there is a large outdoor area, when the BBQ's are on suddenly there's a bit of life and you feel just like you're in your best friends backyard. But winter is my favourite time to be here. It cheers you up

Recently had our work Christmas function here with cocktail style food.
I was expecting to have to chase down the staff to get some food, but it just kept coming and the serving sizes were fantastic.
We have a variety of things, from mini quiches to large chicken skewers and individual fish and chips with tartare sauce. I will go as far as saying it was the best cocktail style food I have had anywhere.
Staff were always happy and seemed to be happy to help. Girl behind the bar was always cheerful and quick.
Highly recommend this for staff functions, however I am keen to get back there for a sit down meal because if the finger food is anything to go by, it should be sensational.

Excellent for a relaxed, casual afternoon or evening with family, friends or work colleagues. Space and tables are plentiful.
The venue is stationed on the pier - therefore right on the water and they have deck chairs for those wishing to soak up the sun.
There is a large and varied menu, ranging from bar snacks/tapas, barbecued meats in toasted buns, large/main plates, dessert, kid's plates etc
We had Braised Rabbit (main, $18), Bisque (main, $20), Vietnamese Pork Roll ($12), Salads ($9).
Food is fantastic - quality ingredients, well put together and generous portions, for example the bisque was plentiful with fresh not frozen prawns, scampi, scallops, fish etc - great value!
The bar is well stocked with wines, bubbles, beer and ciders.
The place has a great vibe about it.
Note: it is a casual bar/dining venue. so do not expect plush surrounds, linen or waitstaff attendance. Your place your food order at the bar and they give you pager device which informs you when your food is ready to pick up.

Approximate cost: $18-25

The location is amazing on the waterfront with loads of outdoor seating. Great simple bar food but it can get very busy so the service can get a little slow. Great spot for drinks on a sunny afternoon.
