This is THE restaurant. It is like no other. Although of course many try to imitate it these days.
I have only been 4 times and it is certainly a place you should not go more than once a year for a special treat. But go you must... At least once in your life.
I like how there is a set menu, otherwise it would be too hard to decide! Service is excellent- especially how the staff matches the right tea/coffee to the right customer! Price is quite pricy but worth the experience.
Be prepared for a lot of fish and a VERY expensive bill! Booked for my wife and I on a Friday and probably the BEST fine dining / service you can get in Sydney.
Degustation menu was fantastic. Each and every serving was full of flavour. If you get it with the wine...difficult to keep up on the wine front. We had a backlog of glasses filling up the table but it was all part of the experience. You go there knowing that you are paying top dollar so the bill at the end really comes as no surprise.
Very nice looking restaurant well laid out and presented. Tables are widely spread to allow privacy. Food is quite pricey but reasonable considering quality and service provided. Staff are helpful but sometimes there when not needed and not there when needed.

very expensive but worth the money, the sashimi are very fresh and nice. and they cook the food just right, the beef are so juicy and nice, it would be a good treat to take someone special there
food are excellent, service are great, very nice environment, good to go there to celebrate some special event with my husband. however it is very expensive though, so only for special ocassion for me
An expensive restaurant, this is one of the best Sydney has to offer. I love the degustation menu, but be wary if you're not a fan of seafood! Really great atmosphere, wonderful service, the quality of food provided is amazing.
It's fits my expectation of a top high-class resturant in the world. Each dish is delicious and decorated beautifully.
Very beautiful restaurant situated in the heart of the city. The only option was the degustation. Each course was very nice and unique. The cuisine is modern Japanese. Quite an expensive outing, and the only other downside was the quantity of food. There was too much food, and somehow this made it feel less special.
