This restaurant is located at the old Johnny Rockets site and has retained the Johnny Rockets 1950's soda fountain style of restaurant. Overall quality of food is good to excellent with a recommendation for the Big Bopper burger. All needs and tastes of the 1950's can be found with good friendly fast service.

Tried this place for the first time a couple of weeks ago. We usually go to Misty's diner however we try to avoid Misty's on weekends because it can get pretty feral.
Food was decent, to be expected. Nice chili burger, chips were fine. Love the soft drink floats.
The staff were really friendly and efficient and we didn't have to wait too long for food. Thank you!
If you're looking for a good, reliable place for burgers and hot dogs but don't want McDonald's or Hungry Jacks then visit Soda Rock.

Approximate cost: $15

Walking into Soda Rock is like stepping back in time.. The staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is fun, with the staff putting on a dance on the hour for some lighthearted fun (at their expense). If you're a fan of big, american food, you'll love soda rock - especially the chilli fries, hubcap burgers & hot dogs! And to top it all off, you can order all your childhood favourites, like spiders & malted milkshakes. It's a great option for fun dining experience.

Went for vegetarian burgers and fries. Burger cost me $9.00, was small and bland. Fries were cooked at high temp oil, outside was fine but it was undercooked from inside, leaving that unpleasant raw potato after taste in mouth.

Approximate cost: $16

Not too bad for a one time experience, but lacking a bit in authenticity, they do try hard though ! The dancing staff is novel ! Food is average quality & the drinks OK. I'd go back if I had nowhere else to go, sorry !

There is steady traffic in Soda Rock on a Saturday afternoon with most of the tables filled and many sitting at the counter. Classic music tracks fill the air at a volume that makes it a little difficult to chat over your meal.

For the purest, the Sloppy Joe is not a traditional Sloppy Joe, but a burger patty with chili on top. Good taste, spicy chili and nice buns, rounded out with crunchy fries on the side.

Half way through the meal we're treated to a dance by the waitstaff. A cute dance but they don't look like they are enjoying themselves very much.
