I am sorry to write this but felt compelled to do so.

I ordered takeaway food and arrived to pickup. I was informed that the dish I ordered was unavailable but they substituted it with the closest available vegetable. I was glad they did that and glad to accept it. Bill was $110.

After paying the bill, I asked if she could give some cut chilli. She said no as I did not ask for it when I ordered. Restaurant was not busy at all. I left upset and disappointed and as I walked to the car, felt I should go back and request it.

I went back and requested cut chilli as I would enjoy the food better. Then she explained me that it will cost $2. I asked her if she would bill me $2 if I had the same food as dine in. To that she said, in take away they have cost of containers. I paid the $2 and got my cut chilli.

But I must say this is not hospitality!

I have been going to Sharkfin for 25 years albeit have not been going their regularly in the last 5 years or so but I know many of the staff over the years including the lady that served me tonight.

Perhaps it was a lapse in her judgement but I write this so that a hospitality venue and its team are held accountable for providing service to their patrons.

I'm so upset writing this, I have been going to shark Finn Keysborough for YumCha for over 10 years. As of our visit this Sunday, it'll be our last.
- No variety of dishes, so many foods missing compared to years ago
- Hardly any food/trollies rotating the floor
- No longer value for money
- Rude wait staff (this has always been the case but the food superseded it in the past).
They have become complacent and we will have to look elsewhere in the future, a common theme from other reviews I see here

Excellent!!!!!! Love dinning t this place. The food is always amazing and we cannot get enough of it. Highly recommended. Great friendly staff.

Yum Cha is my favourite dining experience, we go often ...thought we might try Shark Fin Inn, we all thought the food was nice but not great, a little over priced to others we have been to with better quality food, the service was a little slow considering it was not busy 2pm during the week...but reasonably friendly!!

The staff here are really helpful and always go the extra mile to make sure your happy and taken care of.

Sunday Yum Cha at this Shark Fin Inn has become a guilty pleasure of ours. My partner and I just go on our own and we love the huge array of options on offer. We have had Yum Cha in lots of places but no where has the quality and variety of this place. I discovered their pan fried noodles which are to dies for and their Mango snow balls for dessert are amazing. For the two of us with tea it costs around $45 which is a bit more than I'd like to pay for lunch but we love it.

I love this restaurant. My partner is Vietnamese so we often attend this restaurant for family functions such as birthdays or Chinese New Year celebrations.
The food is really good - cooked fresh and cooked well.
The staff are friendly and polite and accommodating.
The prices are reasonable considering the food is of a high quality. The yum cha menu there is great, and the kids enjoy trying the various types of yum cha food.

I have been here once for a Christmas party with a group of people. The place was very busy and noisy. I booked here because of the high reviews on their website. Everyone at our table said their food was fine, but mine came out swimming in oil and tasted like oil.
