If you’re after fresh food I’d give this establishment a hard pass.
The lamb blackstrap and green salad was really disappointing. The salad seemed like an after thought and was a terrible version of a Greek salad.
The steak was average.
The staff were not overly friendly.
We will definitely not be returning. I’d rather give another venue a try.

This is a great RSL where you can bring the whole family for a nice, filling meal. The portion sizes are large, which was fantastic for the reasonable cost. I ordered the Parma with chips and salad, which tasted delicious. The staff were very friendly when I entered the RSL and were polite when ordering a meal.

Good staff, nice looking place. good sized parmas & fish and chips, good ratio of chips to salad. Nice quick meal and clean premises, good place to take the family and kids

I attended the venue with my extended family for a Saturday lunch, in preference to another venue up the street. It was OK, but unspectacular.

The meals were adequate, those who had the chicken parma said it was 'a bit average'. I had a Chicken Mexican dish, which was nice and fresh, but came with veggies instead of my preferred chips and/or salad. They didn't even ask for an option on that one. The kitchen had closed when we decided to buy dessert.

The staff weren't terribly friendly. It seemed like bringing meals to our table was a chore for them, with their attitudes. A smile would have been nice.

HOWEVER, the young lady behind the bar, Kayla, was very friendly and helpful and ensured that we were were well looked after for the afternoon. She was definitely a ray of sunshine within the staff, so kudos to her for that.

Beyond the food and service aspects, the Saturday afternoon raffle is good value at $1 per ticket. My Dad was lucky enough to win 1st prize!!

The Rye RSL has a great friendly atmosphere, there is great tasting food and a good variety to suit all tastes and the food is great value. We always eat here whenever we come to Rye.

As soon as you walk in there is a friendly face welcoming you. The bistro is clean and fresh, the food is well priced and quickly served. The bar has a good selection of drinks. The pokies are good fun too.

This has to be the place to be ! The staff are always extremely polite and helpful,nothing is too much trouble and you would have to go a very long way to better the quality of their meals and the great value for money.
