Robert Channon Wines is just a beautiful place to visit on the Granite Belt - the vines are immaculately looked after and the cellar door is a pleasure to visit. Is the verdelho the best I've tasted? I have no doubt - it is simply on a level above anything else I've experienced and the winery settings help with . But verdelho is just one of the wines RCW does - the chardonnay is also very good and shows the potential of the Granite Belt for other types of wine apart from verdelho!
