Good for a local pub. Most people I know will mention they are going down to the Plough for either drinks or to watch a fight on the tv in the sports bar. Most of the locals know each other there and the bar staff are always polite. I have never eaten food here though as I wouldn't feel comfortable taking my daughter there as its more of a sports bar and pokies kind of place.

I moved to the area 3 months ago and firstly found that the first 3 attempts to get a meal were all on days that they dont have meals to buy, I found it hard to find a suitable time as the kitchen is closed on Sunday & mondays, these are the only days my partner has off work and have never had this problem before, after being told no menu on these days we thought that we would try lunch here on a Thursday as I also had my nephew with us. Firstly I found that the menu was limited and not much at all for children, we ordered beer battered fish and chips, I found it to be the smallest fish I have ever seen, two very small pieces and tasted like frozen fish from the supermarket, just horrible and chips were hard, I had a few mouth fulls then pushed it aside, my partner had chicken parma, also very small and tasted like it was microwaved and chips also hard and not cooked properly, also had to ask for salt/pepper and sauce as there were not any on the tables. I feel that there would have to be a massive improvement for me to ever go back again.

Approximate cost: $30

Worst pub.. would never eat here again. Girl didn't put ticket through to kitchen so I waited over an hour. the parma was microwaved and had a hair in it. Gross

A great family hotel where the meals are a reasonable price and fantastic quality. They also have a kids menu which is very cheap and this hotel is a family favorite

This is great local pub where I would go meet friends for a meal or a coffee and sometimes try my luck at pokies.

Staff are friendly, polite and greet you when you walk in, which is a nice gesture.

There is a good range of pokie machines to play.

The bistro serves a nice range of meals to suit most tastes.
