The floating pie is a great choice if you want a pie. They have a good variety of gourmet pies that reasonably priced. Though service was a bit poor on the day, but that could have been because of the busy period, long weekend.

Pies here are sooooo delicious!!! It can get very busy on the weekends around lunch time though and hard to get a table but you can take away a pie and eat it while window shopping along the main strip.

Pie in the sky has award winning pies. They are absolutely delicious. Even though it is far from me, I like to go once in a while

Even waiting in line on a long weekend, it is still totally worth the wait going to Pie In The Sky. After 10 years of being a customer I've never been let down. The place was completely packed for the Queen's Birthday long weekend and the food quality was still top notch.
One of the only places I've ever been able to find a fantastic vegetarian pie. The spinach & feta pie is fantastic

We were recommended by a friend about this pie shop. Apparantly the shop has been featured in 'TodayTonight' previously as a must-go eating venue in Melbourne. I went to the place expecting a regular pie cafe but to my amazement, it turned out to be quite an experience. The ambience is authentic & quaint, as suited to the hilly atmosphere in Mount Dandenongs. There are a wide variety of award winning pies available, ranging from Beef Burgundy, tandoori chicken, thai chicken etc. (just to name a few of my favourites), to please one's palate. & if preferred, one can have the pie accompanied with mash potato and baby green peas. I am a pie-lover, however the amazing aspect of the pies are that the pies are hand-made & therefore fresh & crispy, as indicated by the crispy thin crust of the pies. Service staff are friendly and genuine. I believe the pies in pie-in-the-sky are the pinnacle of pies.

Approximate cost: $15
