On the hardest day as a dog owner, the Pet Emergency and specialist centre veterinary hospital were amazing. From the compassionate greeting at reception, to the vet and nurse making my dog's final moments dignified and loved. I won't forget how well treated we were.

I love this place! They always treat my pets with care and compassion at the pet emergency and specialist center. The office and console rooms is clean and the staff is genuinely friendly, knowledgeable and very professional.

Best staff in veterinary medicine. They are simultaneously professional and down-to-earth friendly. They treat you and your fur baby like one of their own. I drive ridiculously out of my way just to come here. They run a very smooth and complete operation just fine with honest and high-quality experience you don't get much of anymore. I can't recommend them enough to friends and family.

Dr Chris and his team are just amazing and extremely kind and helpful taking care my dog. They take care of details and also did a great job on surgery. My dog always happy to go to the vet (which is not normal lol).

If you plan to go to this hospital, think again. We took our cat there after severe vomiting and found the place hopelessly uncoordinated, the staff uncommunicative and off hand. We were told they had no idea of wait times, and never attempted to inform us or anyone. When we tackled them about it they became defensive and said they are so busy, so tough. Our cat had a terrible time, with 3 legs shaved and punctured with attempts from.the canula, with one very badly bruised and swollen. When we finally collected him - after demanding his release - we took him to our vet who asked for the records. Things were missed, not recorded or inaccurate. But they can charge! The final cost was $1000. An absolutely horrible experience from a money grubbing and uncaring organisation. If I could give no rating I would.

Dr Chris Preston is simply one of the world's leading orthopedic surgeons. When our pet labrador was diagnosed with bilateral elbow dysplasia, hardly any specialists were comfortable to do the surgical procedure and everyone pointed to Dr Chris Preston in Melbourne to do the surgery. So we flew him down, had 2 surgeries and now he is fully recovered and is running better than every before. Thank you to Dr Chris and team for the amazing surgical outcome and outstanding care. You simply change lives. Would strongly recommend them to anyone when complex care is needed.

I cannot thank Dr Chris Preston enough for saving my dog's legs. I had two specialists diagnosis which indicated my beautiful 13 month old boy was going lame. My vet suggested I get a third opinion from Chris who advised he could perform an operation that would save his legs. The operation was performed that day and now my nearly two year old is running and enjoying life as he should. Chris was always willing to talk on the phone and see us anytime I had questions or conerns and he kept the vetinerary fees as low as he could. Many thanks to Chris and staff for the great care you took of my best friend.

Keep your pets away from this hell hole - this vet should be de-registered and the surgery shut down. Our experience was too horrific to relate again here but is on Google reviews with so so many others. Unfortunately 0 stars is not an option.

Ridiculous cost for what seems like was needed was a shot of antibiotics for our sick cat. Paid $400 for stay overnight followed by $1150 next morning, they expected full payment on the spot and would not consider payment over time eg 30 days. Considering reporting this business practice. They still couldn’t provide a diagnosis after 14 hours in care and wanted to do further testing. In hindsight common sense approach would have been antibiotics and observation at home. Wish had gone to our local vet for a common sense approach. Front desk lack of empathy was unbelievable. Please take heed.
