We have driven past here I dont know how many times, and from the highway it looks really unappealing & we always thought it would be a waste of time & money....boy were we wrong!
We are so glad we went for a visit, it was very reasonable to get in (we have a concession card & cost only $20 for 2 adults & 2 kids 6 & 2) and we all had a great time, even the kids loved it. The grounds/gardens are beautiful & the old buildings are so interesting to look through...great way to learn about gippslands history.
We will be back when the weather gets warmer & will definintely try the cafe next time, it was very busy when we left so must be a good feed...well worth the stop!
