Very popular little take away on the highway in Trafalgar. When we drive down to Melbourne it is always busy.

Last time we stopped in there were a few people in the shop & only 1 girl serving so was a bit slow & felt sorry for her. But the coffee was good & the stuff in the warmer (spud cakes & dim sims) were fresh so kids & hubby were happy.

On our next trip down we are planning to stop & have dinner & try one of the "Brendan Burgers"

It's not very often we come here, but when we do it has always been lovely. Great quality meals & awesome service. It is generally always very busy so you are best to book a table.

Last time we went we were on a table of 14 & they co-ordinated all the meals etc...extremely well, no one was left waiting too long for their dinner, and we all had a great night - no complaints from anyone!

Would happily recommend you try The Ritz.

I am looking forward to coming for lunch one day with the girls :)

This is a bits n pieces store...lots of art & craft supplies including canvases, paints, boxes, hundreds of stickers which the kids love. Also have lots of home wears & gift items.

The customer service was not good today. Behind the counter were 2 ladies who continued to talk to each other as I was being served, which I find extremely rude!

The topic was inappropriate I thought to have in front of a customer too...they were talking about how one of them used all her sick days up, so "they" wont pay her for a day she took off even though she had a certificate & was moaning about how she has to pay for her rent, bills etc...she just kept going on & on...I was glad to leave.

I walked out thinking well I wont come back here in a hurry, there are other craft supply shops I will visit next time...

I hadn't been here since I was in school so was great to visit with the kids.

Bit pricy to get in, we paid for general admission $16 per adult, kids free & entry into the "Rescue" exhibit 2 $4.50 each so total cost was $73 for 4 adults + 2 kids aged 8 & 3.

Kids had a ball with all the interactive displays & loved the rescue exhibit where they could fly a helicopter, put out fires & dress up in rescue gear.

Lunch at the café was nice with variety of food, sandwiches pies, kids packs, coffee etc... prices were as expected at this type of café.

Good seating area outside for kids to run around & a great playground.

The pumping station was also interesting to check out - gorgeous old buildings.

At the end of the day the kids had a great time so that makes us happy. We will visit again in a few years time :)

Approximate cost: $16 Adult

We were searching for somewhere to eat with kids @ crown & thought this place looked ok a had what kids eat pizza/chips etc.

Tables are very close together - we had to squeeze past a few to get to ours along the wall, so we felt like you were dining with the table next to you.

Between the 6 of us we ordered the garlic/parmesan bread which was very nice but a small portion for price, bowl of chips (French fires) 2 pizzas, which were small only 4 slices that probably only serve 1 person & light on toppings for the prices, the bbq chicken was nice & the Hawaiian was pretty average & not very tasty and lastly a salad which was coated in way too much white vinegar & barely any cucumber or tomato in it, really a bowl of lettuce - not nice at all.

Overall, not much of an impression made on us, next time we'd go somewhere else.

Only 1 negative thing to say about this park - unfortunately we only stayed one night!

What a lovely caravan park and cabin accommodation. We were very impressed!

We stayed in a 3 bedroom family cabin for $225 on a Sunday night that had - 3 bedrooms (2x queens & 1x 2 single beds) bathroom (with spa), separate toilet, and open plan kitchen lounge/dining. It was a very spacious unit, spotlessly clean & had everything you could need.

The kids loved that there was a tv in every bedroom.
Foxtel was there too so hubby happy could watch the golf!

There was ample parking also, we had a ute + trailer + people mover & were able to fit them all in the driveway next to cabin.

The park facilities were great, including a playground, pool, spa, games room and laundry. All facilities around the park were spotlessly clean also. There is also a security gate to access the park.

The staff were lovely too.

It took about 10-15 to get into city & park is on a busy road, but we didn't hear any traffic noise at all. The park is under a flight path so you do hear planes every so often but it didn't bother us - the kids loved seeing the planes go overhead out of their window.

We would happily come back to stay (for longer next time) & would definitely recommend this park. Very impressed!

We have used Mal Sloan Plumbing for probably about 10 years now. I think that says a lot about the business!

They are all friendly & efficient & will turn up when they say they will.

We have never had an issue with Mal or his team and their work, that's why we still use them! He has done work for us when we ran a motel, and once we left there has fitted gas appliances is our homes (heater, hot water + stove) and has done general plumbing work.

We have always found their prices good value & comparable.

Would happily recommend :)

We were invited to a friends birthday dinner on a Friday night. They have all you can eat buffet at reasonable prices so we were looking forward to it..

But we were very disappointed. We had never been there so had no idea where to pay etc...the service was ok, no signs where needed to pay, we were not greeted at the door & told what we need to do etc...ended up seeing someone else pay at bar & collect plates so figured that's where I needed to go...

The second & biggest disappointment was the food. Very limited variety for a "buffet"...nothing was labelled so you had no idea what it was. Lots of meat in brown sauces that all looked the same....very unappetising. No selection for kids, no nuggets of even a spag bol or lasagne, just some soggy chips in a tray, some fish (which tasted horrible) and bread.

After getting kids their "meals" I thought a piece of chicken schnitzel might be nice, until I noticed it was all still pink/raw...no thanks..

Ended up having a few slices of the roast (which was ok, dry, but ok with gravy) some stew/casserole that was ok, lots of chewy meat bits & fatty bacon & then a plate of vegies.

Desserts were also limited, there was only pavlova & black forest cake for adults, but the kids loved their bowl of jelly.

So due to poor selection & quality I unfortunately wouldn't recommend the buffet. We have not tried a meal off the menu so they may be ok, but we are in no hurry to return I'm afraid...

What a great little bakery. Very cute.
We often pop in to grab some take away treats to take to the local park.

They have ample seating inside, & also a few tables outside.

Plenty of yummy things to choose from, pies, breads, sandwiches & of course lots of delicious cakes! Everything we have tried from here has been great.

Prices are very reasonable.

Would happily recommend you pop in for a tasty treat & a coffee!

We popped in here one night on the way home, there was only 1 girl working & a few people in shop waiting & I though - this is going to take ages...but to my surprise we had our fish, hot dogs, spud cakes, chips & burger in less than 10 minutes...very efficient!

Prices were normal for a fish n chip shop...

Food was good, hamburger quality was good too, and very tasty. Shop could do with a bit of a makeover to make more modern & inviting.

Overall, good little fish n chip shop, we would be happy to order from here again.
