This is a fairly new farmers market, only started a few months ago, I think.
It is open every Saturday morning, from 8am to 12 noon, at Talunga Park, which is at the Mt Pleasant Showgrounds (also the oval and caravan park).
We were travelling through last Saturday morning and decided to stop and have a look. Glad we did.
There is plenty of parking close to the pavilion, so you don't have a long walk. There were several stalls outside, mainly fruit and veg. Inside there are probably 20 to 30 other vendors, mainly local farmers, producers and small businesses.
There was a seafood stall, bread and other baked items, meat, eggs, olive oil, as well as the fresh fruit and veges. We noticed there was also a stall selling bags of oranges, lemons etc.
You can also buy a coffee and something to eat. We treated ourselves to a tasty cake pop (from the citrus stall).
This is a nice, vibrant local market, with fresh produce, and some other interesting local regional produce.
