Last time I went I found stall holders very nice and friendly. The stalls are old but that's part of the look, if more people went the market could really get going . Some stalls need to be fixed up and I think management should interact more with the holders. All in all I found it great and my granddaughter loves to come with me. So lets get together and make the market great
I don't visit this market very often as each time I have been quite disgusted & I was again last visit...
They ask for a gold coin donation to get in to start with which is fine... The stalls are all very very old dark dingy & not inviting at all..the stallholders are all smoking in their little tin sheds which makes them stink & I refuse to take my kids into a stall that stinks of smoke - disgusting. And people can walk around smoking too, which I don't think should be allowed.
I have seen mice running around the stalls on shelves etc...not hygienic! Many of the stalls pretty much stock rubbish, that they are trying to sell - stuff that has obviously been sitting there for years as covered in thick layers of dust.
I don't like coming here at all, it's dirty & I find very unwelcoming. I would never buy any food or drink here.
I wouldn't call it a market, more like a trash n treasure..with more trash than treasure.
The only plus is they have a free jumping castle for the kids.
