I had a lovely salad lunch at the Millpoint Cafe bookshop. The front of the cafe is a bookstore with tables and lounges. There is also an outdoor area at the back which is where I was situated as the front of the store was full. The menu is so good, I was very pleased with my Szechuan Prawn Salad!! I will definitely return.

I just love visiting this place! I relax as soon as I walk in the door. Something about the relaxed staff, all the cosy nooks and crannies stuffed with comfy seating, and rustic tables groaning under the weight of the latest and greatest books just waiting for me to discover them!

The outdoor area is very pleasant for most of the year, and inside it's always homey, filled with the chatter of friends and family enjoying each other's company over beautiful coffee and simple, authentic home style cooking.

They're surprisingly kid friendly for a book store, and outside in the covered courtyard there's an interesting supply of toys and books to keep the little ones occupied.

The millpoint cafe bookshop is a really cute place to go to for a light lunch or coffee. The front part of the cafe is as its name suggests actually a bookshop with the tables in the centre of the store - something different.
