I love my daily dose of sugar, entering this shop i had lots of choice and great prices. But you'd have to make a major effort to make anyone serving you smile.

One of the best places I have eaten at in a while. I went there for morning tea and intend on going back many times.

YUM YUM YUM......had to wait but that was because the experience is so delicious that everyone wants to try it....well worth the wait. I had strawberries and dipping chocolate (to share) and the Italian Hot Chocolate.....Sublime...

Don't bother! Service is painfully slow, belligerent and could not care less how long you wait. Waited in line for 35 minutes to be served (staff in no hurry whatsoever to address the huge line) and after conceding that it would be at least another 15 before getting served and then a likely 30-40 minute wait for the actual order...based on the 4 orders I saw leave in the 35 minutes I stood there (and 15 backed up in front of me) I left in disgust. Staff didn't even seem to notice the line and were so slow and unapologetic...gave the air that they knew you'd suck it up and wait in line until they were damn well ready. There was no way I was giving them $50 for a couple of drinks and 2 waffles...could not believe the arrogance...they will only stay in business if people keep indulging this behaviour and put up with being treated like nothing but purses and wallets. Will NEVER waste my time going there again. Have been to Melbourne's branch many times and NEVER been forced to line up like cattle for 3/4 hour...in fact have always been served immediately. Brisbane branch...get it together! People won't put up with it forever.

Approximate cost: $50

Max Brenner is a wonderful find if you love everything chocolate. All sorts of imaginative drinks and foods available. I particularly liked the chocolate fondue. Worth a few visits to try out different things on the menu.

The place is very addictive for chocolate lovers. The only chocolate cafe in brisbane it is. I love their chocolate brownie sundae,it is very rich. Their cold drinks are really good. My favourite is cookie and cream.
