Service was OK and food came out on time. But food was old, and tasted like it was heated in a wok, but worse, we ordered a massaman (pretty simple to identify with potatoes, peanuts and coconut cream) and were given a basic stirfy and told it was Massaman. The fresh flat egg noodles on the other dish, were clearly packet hokkien noodles. Thinking the staff figured we knew nothing about what we were ordering and just gave us whatever they had left over! Complete Rip off and even offensive!

Literally surprised they have return customers! The shortbread men were so bad my 3yo and 18mo gave them back to me. Upon tasting, I realized why, they tasted like cooked play dough , definitely not shortbread or even cookie like. Bee-sting had OK filling, pity it was between days old bread. Service was vague when asked when the shortbread men were baked as they looked a little stale. 'The other day, a couple of days ago' was the answer. I never want to hear 'baked a couple of days ago' in a bakery!! It was all so bad ,we bagged it up and gave it back, stating that I did not want a refund (also overpriced) so as to make very clear this was not about money, but very much that the food was inedible. No response, no apology, not even after I sat outside for a further 5 minutes, feeding the kids packaged snacks and fruit...so much for a visit to the bakery. They better pick their act up if they want to last much longer.

Don't bother! Service is painfully slow, belligerent and could not care less how long you wait. Waited in line for 35 minutes to be served (staff in no hurry whatsoever to address the huge line) and after conceding that it would be at least another 15 before getting served and then a likely 30-40 minute wait for the actual order...based on the 4 orders I saw leave in the 35 minutes I stood there (and 15 backed up in front of me) I left in disgust. Staff didn't even seem to notice the line and were so slow and unapologetic...gave the air that they knew you'd suck it up and wait in line until they were damn well ready. There was no way I was giving them $50 for a couple of drinks and 2 waffles...could not believe the arrogance...they will only stay in business if people keep indulging this behaviour and put up with being treated like nothing but purses and wallets. Will NEVER waste my time going there again. Have been to Melbourne's branch many times and NEVER been forced to line up like cattle for 3/4 hour...in fact have always been served immediately. Brisbane branch...get it together! People won't put up with it forever.

As always McDonalds delivers on the cheap eats, but the service was terrible. At 10am (so not particularly early or late) the staff were vague, disorganized and when taking out order, they were so uninterested I had to repeat it three times. Cleaning staff were oblivious to patrons and just mopped over feet. Have been here on the weekend and they must save the more alert staff for that day, as the weekday bunch were just 'phoning it in'.

Terrible desserts! Made some stage prior and not even reheated, Just whacked on plate cold! We barely touched them, they were that bad and even complained to management about how terrible they were and they still had the cheek to charge us for them, with the room service fee to boot!!
Resort is NOT beach front despite what the website says and rooms are barely satisfactory despite claims of 'newly renovated'. Pillows rock hard and mattress was old and saggy, despite efforts to hide this with a super thick mattress topper I woke up aching... still sore three days later! Kettle in the room was burnt out, lined with soot. After taking it to reception I was told I'd get a new one bought to the room, only to get the same (clearly faulty) one back, reeking of vinegar in their attempt to clean it. Wouldn't bother with ever again and complaining to management clearly got us nowhere.
