This place is in a conveneint location but isnt one i would go out of my way for and would probably just have it when I am in the area now and then.
Usual and average tasting food but it is reasonably priced.
Service was friendly and prompt.

Mai viet is a newly opened Vietnamese restaurant, with a bright and clean atmosphere. The owners are a young couple and very friendly.
It was our first time here and we tired the clay pot stew fish and a pork and prawn salad with various Vietnamese herbs. The flavours were nice but, could do with an extra kick of seasoning for that Wow factor. They even have a daily $1 desert special that changes on a regular basis.
definitely give Mai Viet's a try if your in the Redfern area.
