This certainly is not one of my favourite bakeries or one that is on my return soon list. Their pies were ok, not fabulous and the service was lacking, didn't seem interested, very disappointing.

Large variety of meat options, but would have loved to have seen more than a vegetarian pastie for me! There were a couple of other options that were listed, but not in the oven. Very spacious bakery with nice decor. Just would have loved to see some vegan options.....

This bakery could perhaps have some better signage. I hadnt even noticed it in the main street of Woodside before, while driving through, until we stopped for a walk down the main street today. Walked in, and quite surprised, its huge.
The building looks like an old-style warehouse, with lovely stone walls and galvanized iron roof. It is very open and spacious, with no ceilings, and exposed timber beams.
There is plenty of seating, nice timber settings, an Arabic looking tent with lounges in another corner, for informal, relaxed seating, and a childrens carpeted play area in another section at the front. The counter and back wall are corrugated as well, giving it a really nice, rustic, country feel.
All fits together very well, even though my description may make it sound a bit disjointed.
The prices are very good, 6 pack of bread rolls for $3, and pastry smalls were only $2 each, and taste good. A lot of bakeries seem to be getting very expensive for what you get, but not here. Very reasonable.
