Dr Chris Darby and his team at Lifetime Dental were great. He was very professional and attentive. Also all the staff was very efficient too. I will strongly recommend Lifetime Dental, good value compared to other Dentists.
I also was very impressed with his ease at explaining my treatment options for what is complicated treatment. He was great, very gentle and professional. This Dental Office never disappointed me. All the best and keep up with the good work!

Very good experience because it was seamless from booking to receptionist greeting and Dr Chris Darby was willing to fit in additional appointment on my first day. [redacted clinical content] Good practice. Facility is modern and clean. Sent my son there and he is very satisfied also. Will be sending my daughter soon, my husband been & very satisfied.

Dr Chris Darby and his team at Lifetime Dental were great. He was very professional and attentive. Also all the staff was very efficient too. I will strongly recommend Lifetime Dental, good value compared to other Dentists.

Good morning,

Just a quick update regarding. Tics reduced in severity & frequency but still present at times. Definite improvement however.

Believe me you have only seen the tip of the iceberg. No child should have to endure this road. But we have hope now, and that's refreshing in itself.

He's a determined boy & gives us strength to carry on.

You are all very lovely, Chris is lucky to have caring staff on board. And, Nicholas feels that he's being looked after. I can't ask for more than that :) Enjoy your day!

The good- Chris Derby is a through and knowledgeable dentist, and I was happy with the work he did on my teeth
The bad - High staff turnover
Some staff can be pleasant while others are really rude
Expensive fees in general
Very expensive treatment plan cost me several thousand $ and it involved various treatments that I'm not convinced I needed, so be warned when you first go you will most likely be told about this treatment plan too
Dr Derby can be rather domineering at times
Tries to refer to other medical services that can also cost a lot of money and doesn't seem to understand that its not affordable
He's a good dentist in many ways but be warned and wary of the costs

Thank you for your feedback. Some nice comments to hear and some not so nice to hear. I take my legal and ethical responsibility of fully informing my patients of all their options very seriously. Today there are lots of different ways to fix a tooth and consequently there are lots of different choices and different costs. Some are expensive and some are not. Sometimes the cheaper options are more expensive in the long run. My job is to explain all the options, the pros, cons and risks of each so that my patients can make a fully informed choice that best suits them and their budget. So yes please do be wary of the costs, because it is your choice what you spend and only you the patient fully understand your circumstances and budget. My goal is to provide the longest lasting , most conservative, most affordable dentistry for all my patients. To be able to do that I need a patient that listens, asks questions and then makes up their own minds. We create beautiful smiles every day that allows our patients chew and smile without concern. I have had good and bad service at this clinic. The first couple of times I found it to be very thorough, with discussion regarding what my expectations were and what work I required. I have been happy with the work I have had done with Dr Chris.
On a more recent visit I was made to wait even with an appointment for 40 minutes, even with only one other person being seen to at the time. After finally getting in to the chair, I was looked at for 5 minutes before being left alone for another 10-15 minutes! On this particular visit there was obvious tension between the staff... awkward...
I have on occasion had the feeling that an agenda is being pushed on to the customer, one that can be very costly!!

I am sorry that you were kept waiting on your recent visit, and we are never happy when we keep or wonderful patients waiting. We take running on time very seriously and believe our patients time is just as valuable as our own. We have created many systems to try and see all our patients on time and not keep them waiting. However, in tracking the times we run late we have had to acknowledge that always running on time is impossible and there are events that our out of our control. Please accept my apology and we look forward to seeing you next time, doing more good dental work and seeing you on time. Dr Chris Darby

I was getting some dental work done, and I was basically left by myself in a room with my jaw forced open (to work on the back teeth), while I could hear the dentist cleaning a person's teeth next door. I was in terrible pain, but there was no one in the room that I could let know! Eventually a nurse came in and I indicated that I was in pain - she told me it would be 10 more minutes, and eventually the dentist came back and released my jaw. I complained about the time I had been left in that position, and the dentist said he needed to allow the procedure to work. But I've had similar procedures before, and have never been left alone for that amount of time with my jaw pried open.

Approximate cost: $1000
