My family has been buying our friday night dinners from Lemongrass chickens for 10 years.
We are in love with their secret home made chicken salt and we use it for everything. Lemongrass chickens is the only place my kids chose a variety of salads over chips.
It gets a little loud with the lunch time rush and the after school children running around while parents sit and talk, although the new "our attitude depends on your manners" rule is definitely starting to work. Great humour.
Definitely a highly recommend family restaurant.

I have been going to Lemon Grass in Nth Balwyn for over 20 years and it is still good. The chicken is the best. mouth watering chicken with great spices. The salads and the chips are great!!

Great place to eat for lunch and for afternoon snack, normally has friendly service however services provided to the students or in kids in their teens isn't so great, ask any Balwyn high student. it feels like the staff are always angry at the students or teenagers.

Not bad chicken, the herbs and spices used, marinate is nice... but in my experience the chicken was a little chewy to my liking.

Haven't tried the chips or anything else, so the rating is only for the chicken.

I always love coming here to get my roasted chickens as all the staff here are really friendly and welcoming. The food is all really good and i would recommend coming in the morning to read a newspaper and eat some of the delicious scones that are made

A great shop for chicken and chips. Very busy at times and shows you how popular they are. Drop in and pick up takeaway or pre-order and then collect. Side servings of salads also aviable. They will also cut the chicken up into pieces in you require. Always friendly service, They also have turkeys, lasagne and party catering.

Beautiful chooks and great tasting. Chips are of absolute quality. The service is great, with a guaranteed friendly greeting as to be expected from a small family run business. Overall, great quality and value for money.

great quality charcoal chicken, one of the best around and the chips and gravy aren't bad either! the staff are friendly, we always go back for more.

really nice roast chickens where my family goes to get them every time we want roast chickens. parking can be a bit of a hassle but the roasts are worth it.
