This is a great resort for a family holiday. The resort has plenty of facilities to keep everyone busy including an indoor swimming pool, tennis court, mini golf course and craft activities run by staff at the resort. The accommodation is dated but still comfortable enough and very secluded. Prices are reasonable considering all the facilities and cost around $150-$200 a night depending on villa size.
This resort is exactly as its name suggests, bushland. There are 55 individual villas (homes, actually), spread amongst the trees throughout the 50-odd hectare area of the resort (this is huge), so each one has heaps of room around it, and lots of privacy.
The villas are well laid-out and nicely furnished and maintained, with a full kitchen with dishwasher, plus a laundry and dryer.
On-site there are tennis courts, squash courts, a mini-golf course, games room, an undercover swimming pool with spa and sauna and heaps of room for bike riding inside the resort grounds, amongst the trees.
There is also a lake, where you can canoe (they have canoes to borrow) and fish, or just go bushwalking or riding around it.
Being a couple of kilometres out of town, it is a very tranquil spot. Not too much noise, except for the birds. We had kangaroos on our villa lawns most mornings.
So relaxing if you want, or flat-out doing activities if you prefer, either way, you dont really need to leave the resort if you dont want to, although there are plenty of things to see in the area as well, if you do.
We had a great family holiday here. Dont come here, though if you are looking for the hustle & bustle of the city, or like lots of city noise!
