My girlfriend and I stopped here for breakfast on our way to Melbourne recently.
They do some tasty breakfasts here, the usual bacon and eggs and sausages, also some great coffee. My girlfriend and I previously had lunch here and will say their Monster Burger is fantastic at around $12 with a side serve of chips.
Pleasant atmosphere and fast friendly service.
I have been here twice now and have to say out of all the Cafes I have tried in Murray Bridge, this has to be the best. Our most recent visit was for breakfast, after staying with friends. They serve a decent cup of coffee and their Breakfast Muffins are absolutely delicious, all 4 of us had one. The kids had a milkshake with their muffin and loved it. Have previously tried their burgers and their Doorstop. There is so much to choose from the menu, that it makes it extremely difficult. The choice of cakes and desserts always makes it difficult to get the kids out because they want to try some - very hard to resist. Very friendly comfortable atmosphere and fast service. No complaints here and will definitely be back when out this way. Highly recommend!!!!
Approximate cost: $10
I consider this to be the best dine-in cafe/restaurant in Murray Bridge! Had the tastiest burger of all time - aptly called a "bridge burger", my friend had an egg & bacon sandwich, said it was delicious. Later we indulged with homemade cake and a pancake with maple syrup and cream - coffee (local Obsession brand) and a milkshake. We certainly were well and truly full!! The service was brilliant, the room clean and comfy and the staff very friendly and helpfull. I would recommend anyone to dine there, child friendly too with highchairs, books and crayons.
(jack piper's cafe also have a large room available for functions)
Approximate cost: $8 to $14 with specials
I have to agree, their burgers really are good!
This cafe in the main street of Murray Bridge hasnt been open under this name very long. The shop was closed for quite some time and traded as a cafe before this, under a different name, so I assume it has reopened under new management.
It is now a nicer, dine-in-type cafe, with plenty of seating. The bright red chairs, leather lounge and other tasteful decor make it a pleasant spot.
I had a Hawaiian baked Spud and my wife had a Doorstop, both of which were very nice. Took maybe a little long to arrive at our table from when we ordered, but we had the time to wait, and enjoyed it once it did arrive.
Conveniently located in the main shopping area of the main street and the staff were polite.
