I adopted my cat Darren from Ingrid and he is a fabulous cat. He was a homeless tomcat on death row, thank goodness for Ingrid who takes in any cat regardless of condition, age, level of socialisation etc. Like all of Ingrid's rescues, she had him desexed, vaccinated, flea and worm treated and microchipped. I chose Ingrid's Haven as she is a no-kill shelter and does an amazing job of looking after the cats. She works so hard and the shelter is so well set up and amazingly clean. Highly recommend Ingrid's Haven as the place to go to adopt a feline(s).

Ingrid is 100% dedicated to the cats she saves from death row. I have such admiration for the incredible work she carries out every day for the cats, seeing to all there needs, and with the utmost respect, quality of care and love she gives to each and everyone of them. Knowing which cat or cats and new families are best suited to one another is a real talent and very important for all concerned. The world really does need more Ingrids. I can't imagine life without my Havenite Sebastian and can't thank Ingrid enough for saving his life and making mine happy again by having him at home.

I have adopted twice now from Ingrid and she does the most amazing job ever. When I went to adopt the 2nd time she was so helpful in helping me make my choice of What would work best as I have adult cats at home. She amazes me in her tireless energy for the cats and their well being. I would recommend Ingrids Haven as the number 1 place to adopt your next feline friend.

Fantastic place for anyone looking to adopt a homeless kitty. Ingrid's Haven staff are friendly and accommodating. They let you spend time long enough to help you find the right cat to adopt. The cats here are well cared for.

The Haven is the most wonderful place, all cats are rescued from Pounds and nursed back to health by Ingrid. She and the volunteers are phenomenol. A wonderful organisation!

We adopted our cat from Ingrid's Haven and she, and all the volunteers do an absolutely amazing job. You are able to walk around alone and spend as long as you need to in order to let the right cat find you! I would recommend that anyone looking for a cat adopts a cat in need from the Haven.

We have just adopted our new cat from Ingrid's Haven and what a beautiful place for so many homeless kitty's. 'Haven' is such an appropriate word to describe what Ingrid has provided. A very friendly, helpful atmosphere with wonderful volunteers who take their time to help you out and want and what's best for your family and the cats. AND they let my two year old daughter get in the cages with me to see how she and the cats interacted with one and other so we didn't pick the wrong cat for our family circumstances. I'd highly recommend Ingrid's Haven for anyone looking at getting a cat, young or old.

We adopted our cat Thomas from the haven last year. This was a great experience pre and post as well as on the day. Ingrid was able to assist us in finding a perfect cat for our family and we have stayed in touch. So much more service and support than we expected. And what a great job she does, on top of her day job!

I found Ingrids Haven via her website. We were able to look at all the cats and their personality profiles before going to the shelter. When we got there we were chosen by our new cat Dougal. Ingrid is obviously very passionate about the welfare of all the animals she saves. It was easy to find her, she was very very friendly and professional. She let us take all the time we needed to make the right choice (especially for our 2 little girls). I would recommend anyone to get a cat from Ingrids Haven - just make sure you bring your gumboots and cash, there is no eftpos. We are all looking forward to giving Dougal all the love and care he needs for the rest of his life. Thankyou to Ingrid, she is doing an amazing job and we are so lucky to have one of her saved creatures - we will love him forever.

Ingrid saves cats from death row and gives then a safe haven until a more permanent home can be found. All animals are checked by local vets and fully vaccinated and desexed before moving to their "forever" homes. Cats and kittens are sold at a reasonable cost to caring households. Ingrid's Haven is a non-profit shelter.
If no home can be found, the cats stay with Ingrid and her loyal volunteers for always. This is a no kill shelter.
Ingrid is one amazing woman. If you can help by giving a cat a forever home or by sponsoring a cat check out her website. http://users.ssc.net.au/ingridshaven/index.htm
We have two of Ingrid's cats who are important and well loved additions to our household.
