We had a family Birthday dinner last night with 14 of us in total including kids and the place is run down as it was hot upstairs and after asking about to turn the fans on and we were told ok it just didn’t happen so we approached the staff again and was told they don’t work and the manager is looking into it. After a short time a waitress approached our table and introduced herself and took our drink order starting from 1 to 14 which was what I was told when I explained the bills are seperate. 10-15 minutes later the drinks started to arrive at the table and a short period of time she was back to take our orders for entree’s etc and I must say when we got the entree’s they were great and very happy indeed. We waited a fair while before they main arrived and was never approached again for more drinks which was crazy for how hot and stuff it was where I was sitting and not to say how wobbly the table was where we were sitting it really had issues of lack of maintenance in the building which become obvious. The thing straw that broke the Camels back as they say is the wait for 45 minutes or more for dessert and even then they forgot one NOT impressed at all. By what I could see is a lot of Junior’s and the service or lack of shows and never once did the Manager approach us with answers regards to the fans and when paying about our complaints which to me is very poor indeed. After being involved with my family members in the retail food industry you begin to know what to expect is Satisfactory and In my opion it was far from it and my Wife and I will not be in any rush to got there again and really hope who should be reading this pays close attention to what I have said and I am sure there are more like me and do something about it as it’s in a beautiful spot indeed and I personally expected much better.

Having stake at this restaurant in beautiful Maloolaba was ace. Love this place, fast service, clean place, tasty food, kids friendly restaurant and not so expensive like other fancy restaurants. Highly recommend this lovely place and have a stake with chips and mushroom sauce, delicious !!

Best Hogs breath on the coast. These guys pride themselves on excellent service and delectable food. It is always a pleasure going here. The staff always chat with the kids and give them something to draw on. Love going here for dinner.

Really good food and reasonably priced. The steaks are so tender and the curly fries are delicious. Really friendly and bubbly service, but don't just turn up expecting to be able to get a table. You MUST make a booking. The atmosphere is awesome and it's in a lovely spot (on the spit).

Approximate cost: $30

Hogs Breath is a great family friendly restaurant, it can get really busy so best to book in advance. The food is great, I love the steak!! Can be quite noisy when its busy. They also have a special were kids eat free on Mondays and Tuesdays. I would recommend dining here if you looking for somewhere pretty casual or family friendly. Also in a great location with plenty of car parking avaliable.

Approximate cost: $25

You are right, this place gets busy. I have been dissappointed with not getting a table (always forget to book). But fortunately, the position right next to underwater world, means you can stroll down to the esplanade and find an alternative quite easily.

Hogs breath at the wharf is in a great location, there are plenty of parks for the cars, some undercover. They are happy to have kids and the curly fries are unreal.
