What a unique little place. I dont usually drink coffee but my friend dragged me here for one and I stayed and purchased breakfast and it was yummy! The thing that stuck out for me was the impeccable serice. They asked if everything was ok and were ever so helpful. Will be back !!

I usually use this site all the time to check out a hotel and restaraunt before going however a recent experience has deterred me. I had a terrible experience at a turkish restaraunt which resulted in food poisoning. I had contacted the establishment in mooloolaba prior recviewing them and they didnt care. I wrote my review and tripadvisor took it down. I emailed them asking why to no response. The next day I see this business with a tripadvisor sticker next to their register. It's all a bit too suss for me. I dont like businesses paying sites for good reviews!

I came upon this store by accident. Its huge and bright pink and that alone drew my girly side straight to the door. As soon as I stepped foot inside I was greeted by genuine smiles and greetings. Usually that would annoy me but this store has only been open a few weeks and the staff ask if you have been there before and if not explain to you how it works. Im also a beauty professional part time and this store mostly caters to industry professionals. It's stocked with all the beauty supplies that you can think of. I signed up and was given a welcome pack. It was full of goodies and that was such a nice touch. friendliest place and such a refreshing establishment. I have been to another trade centre called 'Norris' in Currumundi and the girls in there were downright rude. Thank god I can now stock up here with professionalism and friendly people. Thanks girls!

I booked into this hotel through a site like 'wotif' as they were running a special. It wasnt the cheapest place but the photos looked great. Once I arrived I checked in. The girls at the desk were frindly but there was a gentleman there very stand offish and not very happy. Wasn't a big deal as I didnt have to deal with reception much as everything else was perfect! The rooms were stunning, very clean and fully equipped. They had a coffee maker and several other wonderful appliances. The view was to die for. And the shower was the best shower I've had for a long time! very impressed and will definately be back!

Came here with my partner as we were starved having not eaten all day and come back from the gym. I was impressed with all the 5 star ratings on tripadvisor (although it was a tad suspicious that all the wonderful reviews were from people only ever reviewing once).
The service poor. 2 guys just stood at the bar chatting. I had to leave the table and walk up to the counter many times for questions.
We ordered the mixed grill and one of the pides.
We waited a long while for the food and when it came out... the mixed grill was small for the large price.

Anyhow an hour later my stomach felt horrible...I have never had food poisoning in my life and what followed was a nightmare. I spent the whole night at Caloundra hospital violently ill, I was medicated and given the diagnosis of food poisoning by ingestion of the Turkish food ingested at Istanbul Turkish restaurant. The hospital gave me this written as there was no other source as I didn't eat anything else
.
I emailed the restaurant ASAP when I was well enough but frustratingly they didn't apologise and insinuated that I just wanted costs covered. The owner stated that '14 other dishes were sold and they had contacted all bookings with no problem found'. What irked me the most was in the email they wrote: 'supply all relevant documentation relating to all tests involved and what was the causing bacteria contaminant that had caused such a significant down turn'. (their words) 'Only by a process of elimination can we be clearer on the possible cause and with all due respect, inconvenience of such a misfortunate occurrence, email me as soon as possible with the test results so that we can begin this immediately'

I emailed them with a copy of my diagnosis by the treating doctor from the hospital (which is more then enough) I'm worried about divulging all my personal details directly to them when they have been so careless and unapologetic. I haven't heard back from them after asking them to send me a list of what tests they wanted from the hospital and telling them I didn't want any reimbursement.
Horrible experience for me. I did see other unfavourable reviews on this business. One had photos of the food left outside on a hot day. They were subsequently taken down from tripadvisor. Its all a bit dodgy.

It's not often that I have an experience so dreadful that I even question to write about it as I don't want to think about it anymore. But I need to get this out of my system. Being new to QLD I was looking for a make up wholesaler so I can build up my kit. My 1st order was sent to a different po box and I was lucky someone handed it in. I spent over $100 and all the cosmetics were flimsily wrapped and there was no protection. One of the blushers were cracked and I contacted the place to advise. Their response was 'oh well you have it now'...there was no apology and warning signs should have rung in my head. Stupidly I made a 2nd expensive order. This was received packaged but double of what I ordered in 1 eyeshadow. That would be easy to resolve right? Or so you would think...the 'owner ' Nicola didnt help one bit. Exasperated as I felt that I was being walked all over being polite I logged onto FB to leave a polite msg on her page...she proceeded to reply saying I was 'blackmailing' her. Had I threatened any criminal action against her? No. She wanted to make my intentions sinister to her followers. Not only has she driven away a customer but defamed me in the process Feedback both negative and positive is almost given in a transaction. When a problem arises you would expect help but this customer service was atrocious. It should have been a simple return. I think it is run by 1 person and that she hasn't had training or simply does not care about her customers. The products itself aren't worth it, my case broke, eye shadows were not pigmented and cheap like Ebay palettes.. she admitted it was faulty but returning all the items cost too much. She also sends the packages regular post but charges double. She explains that as she is a wholesaler her costs are covered by excess postage. From what I read this company was originally from England. Very unhappy but am glad there are wonderful Australian companies that I can buy from that won't lie to their customers.

Approximate cost: $100

I have been to a lot of places for a brow wax and this is one of my faves as they don't just wax them completely off but shape them to perfection. Thanks girls!

I used these guys recently for something different...I agree it is pricey but so are flowers these days. I would like to see more special deals or discounts for returning customers.
