I had to be fitted with a Holter Monitor at the hospital when the PA hospital ran out of them. I was seen at exactly my appointment time and the staff explained what I needed to do and patiently answered my questions.

They were really easy to deal with!

I have dealt with gold coast hospital on many occasions and my recent visit was from a operation I recently had here, I was in hospital for a week and I was looked after by all the nurses and the doctors were fantastic, the doctors explained in great deatail of my operation and they were excellent, I'm so happy with the staff and doctors.

Had all 3 of my children here. My first born was 7.5 weeks early and had to stay in hospital for just under 2 weeks in the SCU. The midwives and nurses were so supportive and caring. I had to leave the hospital after a week and travel daily to come visit her and it was a reassuring feeling to be able to leave your newborn overnight with them knowing they would take good care of her. Great advice and services available to new mums and believe it or not i actually enjoyed the hospital food.

We havent had much luck with our childrens health, alyssa my eldest contracted Swine flu and pneumonia at the same time 2 weeks before i gave birth to my son, so we were both put into isolation for a few days. Then my son rolled down 20 wooden stairs when he was 1.5 and split his head open on the corner of the bench when he was 3. My youngest daughter ended up getting whooping cough when she was around 4 months old and every visit we have made the staff have been exceptional and im very grateful.

I have been into the gold coast hospital when I tore a ligament and when my sister had gone into early labour. The staff were always quick to act. They were always friendly and supportive and looked after you as much as they could. This is a GREAT hospital.
