Ordered cod ,potatoo scallops and calamari
Fish was greasy and batter stuck to paper,usually perfect,we only walked across the rd to eat.
Calamari we tend to think was sting ray flaps as calalmari isnt that thick. Will keep going back tho because 9/10 its great

Still give this place a 4 . Never had anything off here. Chips we get are crunchy and not oily,potato scallops are really nice and thick. Crumbed cod is cooked lovely and seafood sticks we had were done very well, they have a great choice of drinks other than coke,they have that nz drink l & p which my partner loves . I had a burger this time and thankfully it was cooked and nothing wrong with it.prices are reasonable .this is our stop for kite day,deiving past to Brisbane.

This is a great fish and chip shop. It works well and efficiently. The food here is not a stunner but not bad. Its quite good really. what you would expect by a fish and chip shop. Not many flaws except for once i found a hair in my meal. They were more then happy to replace my piece of fish. 1+ up for service i say

My partner and I eat at this fish and chip shop and I must say that for the most part the food, service and value are fantastic.

Unfortunately as recently as tonight we bought two burgers which were cooked by a new girl and those burgers were absolutely terrible!!

The bun was burned, the onion was undercooked, the bacon was overcooked, the chicken was as dry as one could get it and there was barely any aioli on the chicken burger, the burger were badly presented and they look as if they were just thrown together and they couldn't be eaten as a proper burger should be, instead they had to be eaten with a knife and fork otherwise it would have been way too messy with things the fillings falling out.

The service from this particular young lady was also left a lot to be desired.

This shop as mentioned before normally sells good quality food and the service is generally very good but tonight everything was bad and I sincerely hope whoever manages this shop gets the food and service back to the good standard it was at before he/she received too many complaints or worse loses customers!

this is the place to stop for decent food. never had a problem here over the years. have bought seafood packs,hamburgers and nz drinks, the seafood baskets are great except i dont like the orange tongue scallops yuk not just from them but i dont like em anyway lol. the shop is clean, you can sit out on the street at tables or go across to the park and grab a table to sit down and watch the sail boats .parking on street is a plenty. the prices arent bad and when you're done you can go back in for gelato yummy. staff are young teens and do well and a few are really friendly. keep it up guys

always go here for fish and chips to take with us down to pelican park when i take my son down to play. it is in the best location and the food is always so yummy! great friendly staff too which always makes for a great take away experience!

Early morning purchase of Bacon & Egg roll brought me to this Business, as i could not find anywhere else open. The quantity of bacon on the roll was awesome, service was very friendly and quick. Would definitely recommend this business. have since ordered lunch and i think there prices are a bit high for the quantity you get in regards to chips. The rest of the food was nice seafood stick and fish pieces.

Stumbled across this place when i first moved to woody point, years ago. Still as delicious and value for money as it was back then. One of the best fish and chip shops in the area.

We were recommended this place by a friend when we first moved to the area and have been going here ever since! The food is always divine (their 'burgers with the lot' are to die for!), the prices are really good and the service is great. I particularly love that they stock one of my favourite soft drinks - L & P - which is a drink from NZ and not exactly easy to come by!
