Craig promptly recovered all the data from a hard drive that had suffered a failure a couple of months ago. There was a lot of confidential data on the drive, and initially I was hesitant in sending the drive off for recovery - but I needn't have been. As other reviewers have noted, Craig was prompt in diagnosing the problem and providing a quote, efficient in performing the recovery, and thoroughly reliable. I also believe that Craig was thoroughly ethical in the way that he handled the data, and I am confident that the integrity and confidentiality of the recovered data has not been compromised. Whilst I hope never to have to rely upon Craig again, I would have no hesitation in doing so.

Craig at Data Retriever was incredibly helpful and professional.
Without charging any attempt fees or service fees, he inspected my Seagate SATA drive, organised for a full lab inspection at a large company (due to the large complexity of the problem), shipped the drive, communicated on my behalf, and helped problem solve further when the lab could not retrieve my data. He was great at explaining each step of the process and was very flexible with pickup/drop off times. I would recommend Craig to anyone who finds themselves in a similar situation

I had data on three different hard drives which for various reasons I could not read. One of the hard drives had completely failed and I had previously been told by a computer repair shop that the data was not retrievable. Craig was able to retrieve all of the data from all hard drives. The quotation presented different options based on the level of effort required - the retrieval from all drives represented good value and saved me a lot of time. Craig also offered sound advice and technical references for backing up.

I had an external drive full of data fail on me and despite attempts with local IT places I came up with nothing; most told me it would be a difficult and expensive procedure to retrieve any data from the drive. Sent it down to Craig and had a diagnosis and quote within a couple of days. Fantastic service and, from my experience, unparalleled communication. I always knew exactly what was going on during the process unlike many places that will keep you in the dark until the procedure is complete. There were some minor setbacks with the recovery, all due to things that could not have been foreseen, however these were all overcome and sorted out by Craig with no extra charge beyond the initial quote I had been given! All data was successfully recovered and I couldn't be happier. Definitely recommend Craig's services to anyone looking for data recovery.

I contacted Craig with a drowned mobile phone issue (internal memory card). He was unable to help but I appreciated the fast response, advice as to why it was so hard to fix and gave me a contact of a firm who "may" be able to help. I don't hold out a lot of hope.

Anyway from my brief communications with Craig he comes across as the genuine article. I just hope he gets into mobile phone recovery eventually ;)
